Who knew the rich history of music in this little town?! We really enjoyed the museum. It was not very busy but full of character and interesting artifacts and history.

The music associated with people from Alabama and the recording studios in the Shoals is very much worth celebrating. The types of music represented includes Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country and Western, Bluegrass, and more. This attraction is definitely worth a visit but, for those who...More

We took 3 tween/teens to tour the Hall of Fame during our spring break. They loved it! Their favorites were the Alabama Tour Bus and the jukebox at the end. :) It was a great way to spend a few hours on a rainy day....More

This place has so much packed inside you need plenty of time to see it all. It is truly an interesting stop that shows the talent that got their start in Alabama.

The pleasant ticket lady told us the museum honors any musician who was born in or lived in Alabama. There was a lot of them! Really nice for music buffs!

We visited during the week, early in the morning, and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. So much music history in this place

A relatively small museum but very informative... one of the big BIG reasons I like this museum is when you get to a display there is not miles and miles of written information for you to read over and you become numb and stop 1/2...More

I was really dissappointed with this self guided tour. I only knew a few famous people or groups on this tour. I thought $10.00 was expensive for this tour. I really enjoyed Alabama's tour bus.

Hi, of course it depends on your level of interest and how you like to see museums. I would say half an hour to an hour, unless you are going to read everything in the displays, or watch the whole documentary video like we... More
