Highly recommend Breakout Tuscaloosa! We did “Horror Hotel”, and there were 8 in our group. The staff was super kind and fun, and the clues they gave us were helpful without giving us the “answers”. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Both kids and adults loved it!

Had planned a trip to Tuscaloosa to visit kids and plans to hike, but had rain all day. Found Breakout online, and had a blast. Very fun and challenging and I would recommend to anyone.

We finished our Tuscaloosa escape adventure with Breakout Tuscaloosa which is unlike any escape facility but we have been to, but still a whole lot of fun. On our Escapology scale, we give this venue 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (out of five) for a fun and accommodating staff and creative puzzle design using analog methods. We arrived on a Saturday evening as walk-ins and were immediately greeted by friendly and accommodating staff who got us right into two of their three rooms with just the two of us in the room. They then helped us schedule a later time to return to wrap up the trio. Our favorite rooms, in order, were DeRailed, Horror Hotel, and Who Done It? These rooms are definitely geared toward bigger groups, but we were able to escape DeRailed and made it to the last puzzle in Who Done It? We didn’t have a prayer of getting out of Horror Hotel, but we still had a bunch of fun in the process. While you are not going to get chic production value, you are going to get a REALLY fun staff who clearly enjoys what they do. Think of this as a Mom & Pop Escape room, but don’t be misled: the rooms are still challenging and well-designed. Escape Score: 1/3 rooms escaped We recommend you stop by and give it a try! We were looking for something fun to do in the area. We booked the Who Done It room that morning for an afternoon appointment. The staff was so friendly and made it fun. This was all four of our first time to a breakout room adventure. It was a lot of fun working together to solve the clues to escape. Highly recommend this to people looking for something challenging and different to do.
