Great concert venue in Tuscaloosa

Great venue. I recommend parking in the main public parking area (by the wooden bridge.) Don't park somewhere you're not supposed to- they WILL tow you. Watch the weather.

Loved this venue. Not bad place in the house. Very cozy feeling as it is smaller than Oak Mountain Ampitheater. Very new and kept clean. Bathrooms clean as well. Had a great time. Get there early for great FREE parking across the street

This a nice, modern facility. The seats are a long way from the stage and there is a huge area in front for the people who paid less to stand. The "security" to enter is nothing short of Nazi oriented. Men are subjected to a police style 'pat down' with their hands in the air while women are not checked... More

Saw the Avett Brothers perform here. The place is awesome! Not a bad seat in the place and the sound is great. Great location. We were able to park in the Intermodal deck about a mile away and rode the shuttle both ways for free. Fantastic experience!

The Tuscaloosa Amplitheater draws good artists. The acoustics are very good. It is outside seating so bring a rain slicker with a hood if there is a chance of rain. Lightening with rain will delay, postpone, or cancel the event. Seating is very good and comfortable whether you are up front or in the back. The restrooms are clean and... More

Great running or walking path! Blooming wisteria all along the trail in early April. A bit crowded on Sunday afternoon but walkers graciously give joggers plenty of space. Dogs allowed. About 5 miles round trip from Amphitheater to end of paved trail. A few stairsteps encountered if you stay on the sections that hug the river. Other sections hug the... More

Been here twice and no matter where you sit the view is good. Concessions are pricey but that's normal. Restrooms exceptionally clean.

Great location for Tuscaloosa. Close to other attractions, food, etc. Have been to many concerts since being built.

I've only been to the Amp a few times, some for the free fireworks/Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra concert for July 4, and some for shows I've paid money to see. In each case, though, I've been impressed with the quality of the facility. My most recent visit was for a NEEDTOBREATHE concert, which was a blast. Acoustics were great, crowd excitement... More
