Went here for a friend's birthday gathering. Since neither of us live close to Trussville, I was puzzled as to the reason this particular bowling alley was selected. Well, once I walked inside, I could see why! They have a Dave & Buster's type arcade that was TOO fun! The games were very well priced, challenging, and rewarding. The prizes they have in their prize room aren't astronomically priced, either. Whether you have 300 tickets (which is easy to obtain) or 3000, you have very good prize options. There's a laser tag room that I WILL explore on my next visit, a LARGE bowling alley, and an exceptional VIP room. Our server, Angel, was very nice and personable. She was less a server and more of a good friend. The food was delicious and wasn't TOO pricey. All in all, I had a great experience and will GLADLY go again....Might even let my kids go with me.

Really enjoyed being here. The food is good, the things available to do for fun are many. I visited twice, once in September and once in December for a meeting/fun day and a Christmas party.

I drive here from Talladega which is about 35 minutes but its worth it.The pro shop is awesome and the environment itself is great.All the workers I have encountered are so friendly and I just love it.Thanks guys. And Semper Fi.

My family and I have really enjoyed this place and the people that have
worked here over the years since 2004. My husband and I have made many
friends in the past.
We got married here back when it was known as Lightning Strikes back in
2005. We had many friends and family show up as we exchanged vows on
August 20, 2005 on lane 20.
Many good memories here. We have even bowled on leagues here and it was
the most fun.

For my little family of 3 on Sunday when nobody was in the building, they wanted 5.00 per game and 4.50 each for shoes. over 45.00 for a family of 3 to bowl for less than an hour. No THANK YOU! Ridiculous! I called about a week before to ask if they had any specials for Mother's Day and they said that Mother's bowled free all day that day. The cashier knew nothing about it. With no customers in the building, you would think they would want to have some revenue. I have the $$ to pay it.. I just WONT pay 45.00 for less than an hour of entertainment at a bowling alley. By the way, I have talked to a lot of people that feel the same way!.

It was a last minute thing to take the kids bowling, but I'm so glad that we did. The service was great and the kids loved the arcade. The food was better than we expected as well.

Spare Time is the best bowling alley I've ever visited. Clean, nicely decorated and great atmosphere with good food and drinks. It's a place you can go on a casual date, Birthday gathering or family outing. I highly recommend Spare Time.

Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Really nice and clean. Surprisingly good food and fun atmosphere. Very nice appearance once you get inside. Doesn’t look like a normal bowling alley.

We most recently went with a group of 14 people that ranged from 5 years old to 30’s, and everyone had a great time. The facility is great and the staff is helpful. They also have an updated arcade area and laser tag which we didn’t visit this time, but we have in the past. Also a quality experience there.
The only down side is the last few times we’ve been, the wait has been very long (even at midday). This time we paid a little extra and used the VIP lanes that are in a separate, nicer area of the facility. I feel like the overall price is a little high, but I also haven’t been to another facility in a couple of years.

Arrived at opening time, yet the doors were still locked. 5 min later someone ran up to open the doors and apologized. I was quickly checked in, received shoes, picked ball and was bowling within 5 minutes.
The seating area was clean and the music playing overhead was not to overwhelming.
The only other issue was that it takes a few minutes to print up lane scores
Wanted to visit Pro Shop but they have different hours, so that was a bummer.
