You can make a full day of looking at beautiful flowers/plants/bayou water ways. Not to mention-be sure to take the Mansion Tour. It’s not to be missed. There’s a gift shop and a snack bar also.

Not my first visit but it’s been many years since my last visit. This place will not disappoint, so serene, peaceful and beautiful no matter the time of year. Huge gardens lovely home with period furnishings and the interesting stories make this a must see/do attraction. Cell phone audio tour is a neat addition since my last visit and enriches the experience.

Wow, wow, wow! The gardens are magical. They were beautiful. The tour of the home was also great. Worth the drive if visiting in the area. I am so glad we went and we learned so much. Great day!

Beautiful huge trees that intertwine! So many different flowers and lots of spiders on webs! Pretty lake with cute fountains. Friendly staff. Good price and yum ice cream and gift shop for after. Parking in shade. Koi fish by the jap garden. Plenty of shade throughout the gardens. My toddlers loved running around.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house tour. Had a great tour guide and the antique furniture is lovely. The flowers were beautiful even though only March. The grounds are beautiful and it takes a while to wonder around. There's a conservatory, several different gardens. Expect to spend a few hours hear. Lovely gift shop and cafeteria where we had light lunch. Everyone very friendly.
