I live in Talladega. Nobody goes here except bums and stray dogs. There is nothing to see here except bronze plaques of "famous" Talladega Speedway drivers.

If you dont take the time to visit the Davey Allison Walk of Fame in Talladega, AL then your NASCAR trip is not complete. This is a look back at one of the most iconic tracks in NASCAR. Take an hour or two and drive to Talladega, AL and see this gem of memorabilia. Afterwards have some GREAT BBQ at... More

If you're a big fan of NASCAR drivers, you really need to make the trip to see this homage to them. It's the seminal hall of fame to a sport that has become more and more national and even international in scope. Comprised of an easy walk by commemorative plaques honoring drivers of the present and past, you meander through... More

The Walk of Fame is nice but the city is a little dodgy. When we visited, there had been some gang activity.

I had to post after seeing the last review. Almost didn't visit because of it. It was very clean and maintained when we visited . Worth seeing if you are a race fan.

Have lived in Talladega all of my life, and it seems no pride is taken in any attraction. This was a nice tribute when first built, but now it is run down, broken glass everywhere and you can barely read the facts. As most things in Talladega...........trashed.

Again, this is a requirement even if you aren't a die hard NASCAR fan. The track tour and museum are fun if conditions allow. The museum / walk of fame can take you a long or short as you want

Enjoyed the visit here. Ceremy is good to watch. Didn't get to see the fireworks but others say it is really good to watch as well.
