Beautiful architecture. Huge place to do your shopping if you are into branded goods. Not very good selection of restaurants; I was expecting more foreign restaurants. Nice place for photography. Take Line 2 to Yuandong Avenue. Walk left from the metro station (along the highway) and turn right at the first traffic light. You can see the outlet by now. The walk is not that far for me; I enjoyed the walk. But there’s cab service to the outlet if you prefer.

This outlet was opened about six months ago, and is located near the Pudong airport, and consists of Italian-themed buildings, with four main exits/entrances. We visited on a Saturday and there were many shoppers, but we did not feel crowded out as the piazzas and corridors are big and wide.
You can find the usual suspects, including Boss, Armani, Calvin Klein, Levis,Timberland, Coach and Gucci, as well as Marc Jacobs, Brooks Brothers, Ports, Guess and Tommy Hilfiger. Sports enthusiasts can get themselves kitted out at Nike and Adidas (both were very popular and have a wide range of street shoes), Fila, Lacoste and Puma, among others, while you have many shoe options, ranging from Jimmy Choo to Clarks, Ecco, Geox and Hush Puppies.
Not all shops have been opened yet, and we did not find any designer kitchen wear, though they did have Samsonite and Cath Kidson items.
If all that shopping has worn you out and you need a pitstop, there are a number of food options including Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Subway and Haagen Daz, as well as Chinese and Taiwanese eateries serving a variety of dim sum and other snacks.
Toilets can be found on every block and floor and the couple that we used were very clean.
All in all, it was a pleasant visit, and much better (and nearer) than the Suzhou Outlets or the much older outlets at Huqingping Highway.
The nearest Metro is at Yuandong Avenue, after which you would still need to walk around 15 minutes each way. When we visited, there were a couple of taxis waiting at the entrance, but we would recommend hiring a car/driver or going as part of a tour group. It is open from 10 am till 8 pm or 9 pm, depending on the season.

We came here just to spend our few hours left in Pudong while waiting for our flight back to my hometown. The shops here are mostly unfamous brand. The price are expensive. I managed to grab few clothes for my kids at GAP as they are having some offer at that time. Not recommended to come here.

A meagre selection from the collection the year before in almost every store, terrible old age. Prices are on average 25-40% higher than in similar outlets in Europe. There's a lot of people on weekends, you can't break into dressing rooms. Practically no one speaks English and it is very difficult to communicate with salespeople. Waste of time and no shopping.

To get here, its advisable to
1) Go str when you land at pudong airport since it's 2 metro stops away (Yuandong Ave)
2) If you plan a trip to Disney Land, take a taxi from there instead of the metro which you will have to make a big circle. It's 18km away and the taxi shld cost you RMB90.
There are plentiful brand there, but its unfortunate I wont call this a save money shopping trip, in fact most of the items there are more expensive than in most countries esp Europe and America.
If one is a season shopper, they will know that it's a complete waste of time to come all the way here to shop. Go only for 3 reasons
1) You have really nothing better to do in Shanghai
2) You are feeling rich and stupid
3) You just want to have a look & see day
Unilke the other comments that are nicely phrase. I am just going to be straight and tell you, dont waste your time.

This outlet stores has many branded stores that no other outlets in Shanghai has such as Jimmy Choo, Nine West, and Fendi. The stores and VIP office for the tourists tax refund closed at 8 pm while at other outlets closed at a later time. Location wise, this outlet stores conveniently near to the airport. However, price at this place is also higher than of in the US or Europe.

Beautiful and huge outlet village. You can find so many brands here. Some prices were quite standard but found some good offers. I recommend to visit. The free shuttle bus from metro was easy.

I would not waste my time and effort going, everything was incredibly expensive, certainly not like designer outlets in the USA and Europe . Very average and over priced for the hour trip in a cab.

Lots of famous name, high-end, retail stores are lined up here, but the prices are high-end, too. We went on a hot day in August and there weren't many shoppers to be seen, unlike downtown on Nanjing Street.
