I went with a work friend about a week ago and it was a very good show- slightly "trippy". Some of the talents of the artists were nothing short of amazing. Similar to Circe de Soleil (sp?) but not quite up to the same standards as the Vegas act. I would definitly recommend it but don't go any higher than the 380 RMB seats. A great way to spend the evening when you are sick of shopping and seeing the "normal" stuff.

I saw many of such shows, but this one was really touching and it was well done. The tableaux are very different from each other, but my favourite one is the last with the young couple in white dresses... It was touching. There is not much to report about the area. It is safe but there is much there really. We just went for the show, then we went somewhere else to the city for dinner. It is connected to the subway and easy to find. The place is small and you can see every thing with the cheapest tickets. No need to buy the expensive tickets. Get your ticket and let the show begin...

This is a must when in Shanghai - to see what unbelievable things people can do with skills and hard training is just inspiring.
The show takes about an hour + and each act is about 5-10 minutes (all together there were around 8-10 acts, each one is more incredible than the other).
Important tip: they offer 3 levels of tickets but from what I experienced, you can buy the lowest fair and then simply move forward when the show starts to a closer seat. I bought the middle range and moved to the 2nd row after I saw that everybody is doing that.

I have seen better when the troupe was on tour. Could be that being on their own home turf has dampened some of the vigor and originality.

Good acrobats. Acts are way too long. It was death defying and boring simultaneously - if that is even possible. If this is your thing, you should go. If not, you can live without it.

The acrobats were excellent. The motorcycles in the dome were awesome. This is a very good value for the money to see.

From start to finish this show seamlessly moves from one unbelievable performance to another. The performers, the live music and singing, the lighting were so well choreographed, in a globe theatre with no bad seats. The final act which culminates in seven motorcycle riders integrated at speed inside a metal globe, left me breathless. Well worth the visit.

This was a truly amazing show, my eyes never left the stage. The skill of the performers is awesome and the finale with the motorbikes whizzing around in a circular cage is mind boggling.
Well worth the money.

Is this not the same event as the Shanghai Circus World?
If it is different, how can I get an advance reservation or an online ticket booking?
Thanks.
