The bar is owned by a french guy. The place is retro, mixed with Shanghai and French old school design, which brings me back to the 1930s. I enjoyed every cocktail they made. The bartenders has a big temper but they make exclusively good cocktails! Do come here and try.

Shanghai has seen a wealth of new cocktail bars spring up lately. All themes are covered, from Cuban to American to Japanese. What we didn't have yet was a bar based on vintage cocktails.

The setting is very Shanghai 1920s-30s, with some elements of pre-prohibition America. All is interesting and we lived the women in Chinese dresses and the men in American 3-piece suits.

But what we loved most were the cocktails. Inspired and inspiring. You will find anything you like in there, and if you don't just ask one of the bartenders to create something for you.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in town. Just be patient though because service can be slow, and the place quite full.

Mr Pitt has an really chill ambiance, good music & really comfy chairs. The Flaming Tower & fire show that follow are worth staying most of the night for. The drinks are amazing & the in-house mixologist, Marvin does a good job of making sure the cocktails are to the drinker liking. Definitely worthy price & multiple visits if you have the time.

Like to go there with 2-3 friends, love their "dead lawyer" and "straight to death" cocktail, took many pics in their "cell" with the police club and cuff.

Drinks are always well made. The decor takes you back to another time. It's a good place to bring friends or a date.

The best spot is to sit by the bar and watch the talented bartenders make your drink. The Old Fashioned is almost a show. Seeing the whole process made me appreciate and savor the drink more and I'm not a whisky fan! After a big dinner, I usually go for the nutty martini that's just like dessert! The perfect balance of sweet (caramel) and spicy nuts together with the alcohol is a rare experience. I savour it before I move on to my favorite drink, French Connection.

They have an awesome terrace that I'm looking forward to enjoying now that the weather is cooperating!
