Old but worth a quick trip
Sep 2019
Because it's old, the crowds stay away. There is no line up for any ride and you can get around pretty quick. The tickets are cheap - 130rmb for adults and 60 for kids. But... Beware! Not all rides are included. Also, because of an accident a few weeks back, the boomerang roller coaster was still closed.

A serious amusement park
Oct 2018 • Family
Unlike Disneyland Shanghai (which we went on the other day), Jinjiang amusement park was full of *actually thrilling rides*. Too bad many of them were closed for maintenance or costed more. Apart from that, great park. We went on a regular school day and the park was almost empty, so we recommend that you don't go on Saturday or a holiday which may be more crowded.

Average Amusement Park
Jul 2017 • Friends
I visited Jinjiand Amusement Park with some friends in July 2017. It was a pretty average amusement park. A decent selection of rides, the biggest of which is the Giant Inverted Boomerang which is good fun, but it didn't open until midday (the park opened at 10am) so bare the staggered opening in mind. The indoor coaster is also pretty fun and the theming here is good too. It is a well landscaped, pretty park, especially considering it is close to the huge metropolis of Shanghai. There are a few places to get food, but the food wasn't particularly good. It cost about £10 equ. to get in.

Everything good closed.

They seem to close the bigger good rides when the park isn't crowded. However I have a feeling the park isn't crowded because they keep closing all the good rides. Maybe people are knowing to stay away.

Not crowded and easily accessible by public transport
Apr 2017 • Family
My husband and two teenagers went here as opposed to Disney or Happy Valley which were long and expensive cab rides away. They got the subway here for 4 Yuan each and it was easy to get there on line 1 (at least we seem to remember it was line 1). There's no entry fee but you can buy a book of tickets to access the rides around 100 for 6 rides that can be shared by the group. The toilets are not ideal shall I say.... but the rides were good and suitable for teenagers. The big advantage was how empty the park was, they were in and out in 2 hours and it was great to fill an afternoon whilst Mummy went to the museum.

A nice park to enjoy various rides, though half of them were not operational, because of lack of demand.

Great place to spend your day - even in winter!
Jan 2016 • Friends
I was there today. I went with my friends by metro (It took us about 1 hour from Hong Qiao Airport Terminal 1). If you take Exit 2 It is really easy to find. Just look out for the huge ferries weel or look for some rainbow entrance gate. We paid 100 RMB entry fee and had 6 free rides.

There were almost no other people there today because It's really cold right now, so we didn't have to wait at any queue. Some attractions were closed or in reparation, but the ones we did were really great! I loved the roller coaster were you sit in motorbikes!!!

Some rides can't store your bags, so you should either bring a friend who takes care of them or you bring a bag that can be fully closed or bring no bag at all. It would be also good not to bring any loose objects and wear good shoes like sports shoes.

If you are worried about safety:
Most of the rides seemed pretty safe to me. Just take a close look to the attraction. I wouldn't try it if I see metal fatigue like rust. Also take care to close your seat-belts. Most of the personnel closes it for you and take care about your security, but better be safe than sorry and check on your own, too.

We were there for 3-4 hours. In winter It closes at 5pm already. In summer it closes at 10pm.

great park for kids
Jul 2015 • Family
My son and I visited Jinjiang by subway Line 1 and exit A. There are only 2 exits, and your best bet is to stroll behind parents with young children who will definitely be going to the park. Turn left once out of the station, and keep going straight for a few minutes. It is necessary to cross under the overhead highway to the right side of the street to get to the park. Watch out for the bikes that go speeding by (even when the lights are on red).

The entrance fee could be paid per ride, but we found it more efficient to purchase a 100 yuan card, which gave entitlement to 6 rides. There are many different rollercoaster rides, and some easier rides which were for younger children. A ghost house was located near to the entrance, and there were numerous F&B vendors.

The River Rafting ride, which is probably the most relaxing and "adult friendly", is at the north end of the park. We spent 2 hours, and did five rides. The lines for the roller coasters tend to be long, so if in a rush try other rides with shorter lines.

My nephew picked this place
We went on a Thursday. Even though the place opens at 8:45 am. The rides don't start until at least 10 am, and that depends on demand. We got there at 9:30 am and were the only visitors there. The roller coasters run only when there is enough demand and sometimes only every hour or so. We tried to get on the same coaster 3x but gave up because there was not enough demand. The huge Ferris wheel is an extra ¥40 and not included in the ¥100 admission. The raft ride was fun but they turned the pumps off after we got off. The log ride was in need of a good scrubbing as it was coated with mold. The lazy river ride was very lazy and we ended up pushing off the sides several times. Their "small world attraction" was closed the whole time we were there. The restaurant adjacent to the railroad was decent. The cabbage with bacon was delicious. Not sure how good the air quality is as it is up against the elevated highway.
