This is my 4th experience with Sunny. I previously did a review for the Suzhou day tour with Annie. That was great. I had 2 more trips with Sunny Tour/Annie. 1 was a Chinese Watercolor class. It was such a unique experience. I learned a traditional Chinese Watercolor style and tried my hand at layering colors. The 2nd was a custom experience. I wanted to learn how to do Suzhou Embroidery and asked Sunny to help me find a school. She was able to find a cultural school in shanghai that offered suzhou embroidery courses. It was brilliant! The teacher was very meticulous and I learned so much. Annie was also my translator for this 5 class arrangement. I love Annie as a translator/tour guide because she is always teaching me new vocabulary (since I am trying to improve my chinese) and she gives many interesting historical tidbits about various places. My 4th experience was another custom tailored event. I asked Sunny to find a Guqin luthier to give me a workshop on a) the history of guqin; b) the fundamentals of Guqin craftmanship; and c) hands on experience with carving a guqin. Sure enough, Sunny found an excellent studio right in shanghai and organized the event for me. Lily was my translator for this event. It was several hours long and the luthier was incredibly knowledgeable/passionate about his craft. He was happy to answer my litany of questions and let me try my hand at the chisel tools. I was even able to sign up for a luthier course separate from the workshop. Sunny Tours is my go-to tour company for crafting unique tour experiences here in China. There were many unique requests I made to Sunny that she made happen to the surprise of my local friends. "I had no idea that was possible and I lived in shanghai my entire life." said one of my friends. I've tried a few other tour companies on trips to other regions with my friends and I have to say that Sunny Tour is hands down the best for quality of itinerary and tour guides.…

Had a great time in Suzhou with our tour guide Annie. We went through all the transit seamlessly and hit all the major points. It was nice just being able to enjoy and learn about a destination without having to deal with logistics.

Rita was one of the best tour guides we had in China. Her English was perfect and she was also patient and knowledgeable of the history of China. We had a car pick us up and visit the town of Suzhou but did not have enough time to visit any other town. It was a full day returning at 6pm. Rita made it an amazing day.…
