Interesting

It was interesting to see the mosque. I did not go in, but the architecture did look interesting. Dome itself is really hard to see, because of all the buildings around

Friday prayers in winter
Dec 2019 • Solo
The outside of building do have little Chinese elements, but still look like generic mosque that people usually identify with(squerish, dome, etc).
Inside the the mosque perimeter theres few sub buildings, with chinese elements doors n windows.
About Friday prayer time at least in winter, the Adzan is at 1pm, and starts with Tazkirah in Mandarin. The Sermon actually starts at 1:45~ and prayers at 5mins later.

Subhanallah, wonderful experience

Built in 1343, the Mosque is located within the City itself. It took me 5 minutes walk from Xin Tiandi to the Mosque.

The Priest was amazing and the Sermon was well delivered.

Hope to return back again.

Prayed Jumuaa here
Sep 2017
Not too far from the Yu Garden, maybe a 10minute walk, southbounds then cross the street on the overpass walkways and it's right on the corner of the main junction. Quieter than I was expecting initially but then came alive closer to the prayer time. Food stalls outside after the prayer gave a great authentic flavour too.

Calm inside, yummy street food outside
Aug 2015
I attended the mosque after a busy day at work. What I loved the most was the yummy food outside. The skewers were the tastiest I have ever had. The people - friendly.

Place for friday prayers.
Attended friday prayers at this mosque. It fills up by around 1230pm so its better to be there earlier to get a good place. By prayer time its full. There is no heating on in the prayer hall so it is cold in winter. Outside the mosque on fridays there are several food vendors selling barbequed lamb on a stick and some cereal based sweets.

Grand mosque in the middle of the old town
Sep 2011 • Friends
The mosque built in 1917 has recently been renovated and expanded. It's beautiful and clean but I've been here several times and never seen anyone except the guard.
