space is closed, sad but true. but if you realized it only upon arrival, as me. you may find a lovely Panyu Green Land tiny park on Hongqiao Road with a walking road and grass to chill after such a big disappointment. explore further!

Went to the space. There’s trash everywhere and a sign on the door (with security inside) saying it’s been closed since late 2017. No statues or anything to see outside.

Don't bother, it's closed down

We went to this so called art and sculpture park only to find most units closed down and the site full of rubbish. Developers all around so can only assume that perhaps this site has also been earmarked for future development. Not worth visiting.

Interesting sculptures, nice setting, easy to get to/directions

There were a lot of great sculptures in this park and we enjoyed going. If you have extra time, it's worth a trip but not a must see if you only have a few days. You can check out all the sculptures in maybe a half hour. There was one gallery open (the rest were closed, maybe because it was Monday and we also visited on May holiday, so who knows. Regardless, the outdoor sculptures were fun). There were some small coffee shops and a place for a picnic if you want on the grounds. We took Subway Line 10 (and 4 I believe) to Hongqiao Road Station, then use exit #4 (I used google maps), make a left when you get out of the subway and it is just ahead on your left. This Sculpture park is just one subway stop away from: "Shanghai Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling (Song Qingling Guju)" and we went there next. Also worth a visit, especially if you like history.

One of my best discoveries. Do not tell too many people.

Shanghai has a list of Top Ten, Top 50 , etc things to do and they are full of tourists, too hard to get too by yourself, or sometimes not even worth the effort. This was a great little discovery. Imagine a football sized undulating park with lush grass and lots of seating, surrounded by weird and wonderful sculptures and some interesting shops (the most amazing Qi Pao or Chongsam shop here!! Ladies do not miss this. Finest fabrics, exquisite craftsmanship and lovely design). You just wander around taking in all the sculptures, wander into little galleries and the Sculpture Museum (massive building with knockout works!). lose off the day with a relaxed, lazy tapas lunch or dinner at Las Tapas located at the top of the park. Very kid friendly!! Crowds are thin even on weekends. Talk about easy to get to, look up Hongqiao Road station on Line 4. Just a 10 mins stroll, exit 2, over the road using the bridge, walk along the road that you can see on the right Huahui Rd West.

there is a lot of outside and inside something-to-see. A few cafes and restaurants, shops and design agencies. Quite different from other sites

Nice Hangout Place
Nov 2015 • Friends
One of my favorite place where you can enjoy the open field , where kids are playing around, adults picnic which is not very common in Shanghai. The exhibition hall also had nice artwork on display usually.

The location that is just within walking distance from metro line 10- jiaotong university or Hongqiao station make it more accessible.

Grab a coffee, a beer or a meal to see the world pass by.

Worth a look if in the area

I'm not sure I'd go out of my way but if you already in the area then the sculpture park is pretty cool to see. There are several art galleries and eating places as well. Mainly it's about the art galleries which seem nice.

Nice place to walk and to enjoy some art and coffee

Red Town is a hub for art, mostly focussing on sculpture, photography and some painting. Built in a former warehouse, the primary compound has been redesigned to showcase the arts. The area has has number of small galleries and cafe's that offer a lot of to see and opportunities to relax. There's a large outdoor courtyard features dozens of cultures of various styles and quality. The immediate neighborhoods have a lot of local foods to enjoy.

Fun with lots of free venues. What more do you want? Many of the venues have different things going on at different times.
