river cruises

Enjoy afternoon cruises here, quite affordable at under Usd10 but no refreshments provided. A nice way to see all the nice buildings along the river without having to walk.

When we finally found it (long walk along the bund) absolutely worth it. 100 yuan ($20aud).for an hour long cruise. Good atmosphere. Great sights with all the lights. Gives you a different perspective. Would recommend!

I found the cruise terminus when do morning running at the bund, it's located cross the Clock tower. Than, finally I do cruise the river from Pearl Tower to the Bund sides. That including from my Shanghai Signseeing Bus tickets. That really nice experience to do cruise at Huangpu river, and so sad I don't do the nite cruise. May... More

We took the City Bus Tour and got off here to take the cruise. Since it was a holiday, it was so crowded. We decided just to look around and not take the cruise at all. Sightseeing was better for us since we were both freezing.

My friend and I got the cruise ticket from Nanjing Road ticket counter. A beautiful bus then transferred us to the Bund from where the cruise starts. It is advisable to go on a night cruise than a day cruise. At night, the city of Shanghai turns so bright as all lights are turned on. The whole city puts on... More

Worthwhile to take a night cruise on the Huangpu River if you have nothing else to do. Nightscape is amazing viewed from the boat. Take a coat in case it gets cold.

We squeezed in the river cruise on the morning of our departure. It was not the clearest day but visibility was good. The view of shanghai from this vantage point is just amazing. It is definitely worth it. The ship is clean & fairly new, & the staff friendly.

We took a night cruise of the Hunagpu River and had a great time. The weather was perfect, the skies clear. We were lucky to be one of the first on the boat as we had arrived way too early because of a mis-communication over cruise departure time. However, because of this early arrival we were able to get prime... More

We bought the cruise ticket from the Nanjing Road ticket counter. We were then transferred by bus to the Bund where the cruise starts. It is best to go on a night cruise. The buildings along the river are all lighted up, sparkling and colorful. I should say it is worth while to spend some times here because you can... More

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighborhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
