A small green oasis in Xinzhuang town
Sep 2015 • Solo
Although quite small in dimensions, this is one of my favorite parks in Shanghai.
The entrance is less than 1 km from the Minhang Plaza (Longzhimeng) skyscraper and there are few bus lines passing nearby such as line 747.
The park is divided in two areas: to the left of the main entrance there is the older one, more traditional and similar to other old Chinese parks. The rest of the park is newer and has a lake, larger walkways and some pagodas. Both of them offer beatiful views and relaxing walks.
Around end of February there are many plum blossom (meihua) trees with blossoming flowers, however during this time the park tends to be crowded.
Entrance is free.
