A huge expo compound and it takes long hours to visit all the booths, if it's fully occupied. Very convenient access by using pudong airport green line 2 directly to longyang metro station and interchange line 7 to stop direct on expo site. Otherwise, the expo may provide shuttle transfer from longyang metro station for free. F&B outlets located all... More

I have visited this expo a number of times over the years. It is well maintained, though toilets leave a lot to be desired in cleanliness. There are fast food, cafes, and even a German restaurant on site. As well as a small supermarket. The surrounding hotel and mall offer much better eating options. The site is so large that... More

August 2010, that's when we first came to Shanghai and took so many different photos around the expo centres of the world!! Back then was so humid and hot that almost all the people at the park used umbrella to shield from the ultraviolent sunlight. At the Chinese Expo building, there are many different types of paintings and arts available.... More

I visit here almost every year. This time my visit was for the 'Furniture China'. Its great expo center and very well managed. I has many eating and resting options including a shopping mall with lot of range of restaurants which is connected to entrance No 1. Its convenient, connected with underground train and good management of taxi.

I have been at SNIEC both as a visitor and as an exhibitor. This place is well managed and comparable to western expos. Location is good and easily accessible by car and subway. Exhibition area is huge and you may need to walk quite a distance during your visit. There are good hotels nearby (Kerry & Jumeirah) and in Kerry... More

Staying in Century Park

Neighborhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
