Well worth a visit if you are in Shanghai and want to get away from all the modern high rise buildings. Very touristy but great if you want a change from Chinese food as there are very many western style restaurants

If you want to spend an afternoon strolling through trendy shops and galleries, this is your spot in Shanghai. My friend and I spent an entire Saturday perusing artist shops and craft stores. Really fun.

Nice place to go for a walk and visit historic homes. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Large Westerner population.

Very upscale area with gorgeous parks, Plane Trees and great street food. There are great boutiques.....enjoy this lovely area. I took a dumpling cooking class here and had a variety of foods on a tour. You will enjoy.

carless entertainment center called Xintiandi, filled

As Peter B answered, your Hotel will help you and they will also tell your taxi driver. Remember to get a Hotel card or directions in local language for your return trip to your Hotel. Not all drivers speak enough english... More
