This 'cultural arts village' has so much potential that is not being taken advantage of. The firewalkers and local cultural performance we saw during our visit was the highlight that further demonstrated how much this place could offer.

I don't know if it's accurate to call this place "Arts village". There are several Fiji cultural details, local shops where you can buy some souvenirs, supermarket, post office, diving center, hostel and several cafes/restaurants. The area is quite small, we walked around in 10...More

Wasn't much there apart from a supermarket (the place to get beer) and a few shops. Half the shops were closed and it was run down. The Chief's Bure was not open for visitors so it was a pic and move on.

The massage place and supermarket are great. I had a fantastic massage and did my shopping. I was here about 10 years ago and was thinking it was really picking up with the addition of a great swim up tiki bar. Its sad to see...More

We enjoyed the short 10 minute walk here from our resort (The Pearl). It's a nice little area, with little thatched rooves and a small lake/water feature. We came on the weekend so it was fairly quiet. There's a well-stocked supermarket where you can pick...More

I had a wonderful massage here with cupping - so relaxing and must admit it appears to have fixed a few of my ailments that have been problematic for at least 3 years. Found a great cafe here that does all day breakfasts and the...More

Great restaurants with a real local feel. Lots of indigenous things to buy, supermarket with yummy food and much more. Loved the large ponds with Koi.

Sorry but we were there in the off season so it was hard to tell what was happening. Everything was very quiet then.

When we were there a couple of months ago, they were still running them on certain days when the bookings were high enough...not sure about now.
