We have been diving for several years and have been lucky enough to dive at some of the best dive spots in the world.
This, hands down, was our best ever dive. You can read others reviews for what you see, but believe me, it’s a truly epic encounter with some of the most beautiful, elegant and powerful fish in the sea.
The dive was made perfect by Beqa Adventure Divers. They were highly professional, polished, had good gear and really REALLY cared about safety - but not to the extent that it in any way impeded our dives.
Wow, just wow. What an experience. This goes down as one of our life highlights.
Bravo Beqa.

The issue with having the dive of your life I'd that it is seemingly going to be difficult to replicate. But that is just fine. The 2 shark dives are unique.
The staff were friendly, very knowledgeable and safety is paramount. This dive was actually very calming. There were about 35 bull sharks and others so close they touched you.
The experience was just awsome and I would recommend this to any diver from the age of 12 to 112. Very safe and stunning.
Apparently in the winter months there are double the sharks. So maybe another visit

So well planned and executed. 30 plus bull sharks if you reached out you could touch, we saw 7 different shark species. Sharks were fed but not to the point of frenzied. Totally recommend, staff were strict on boat, no moving around, they didn't hype the dive at all - therefore it completely exceeded expectations. Also didn't offer much info about the sharks, their habits, biology, research etc but when questioned flowed with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm.

By far THE most INCREDIBLE AND BEST experience I’ve ever had. I went 3 times in 2 weeks cause it was that good. I promise 100% you won’t be disappointed. The 2nd time I went, there was a gentlemen who said he did the other shark dives in Fiji and he said by far this was the best one! There were about 28-30 bull sharks on one day during the 2nd Aerial feed and it wasn’t even “peak season” (I went in November). The sharks get close but I felt safe 100% of the time. There was at no point I felt that my life was at risk. I’m a new diver and got certified a couple of weeks prior to the dive. If you are newer like me you’ll have a dive master dive beside you. They keep the max amount of people diving lower so you can have the best experience. There’s plenty of Crew members and they do an AMAZING job. Vinaka Beqa Shark Dive!🤙🏽🤿🦈 I’ll be back!

Beqa Adventure Divers is simply amazing and their crew are fantastic. Your every need is catered for and they make you feel 100% safe. Its said throughout the dive brief that your safety is their first concern and you feel it on every trip.
Now down to the dive, WOW WOW WOW !!
This is the second time we have come back to Fiji just to dive, day after day shark diving and it gets better every time. If your aim is to get an inch away from a heap of Bull Sharks in the middle of a feeding frenzy lol this is your ticket !!
The one thing you want when you get down 30 metres surround by 20-30 Bull sharks is a bunch a guys that you feel safe with and l'm telling you its these B.A.D boys you want behind you, Your life is in their hands and they are exceptional at it.

This was my 3rd shark dive experience with Beqa Adventure Divers. Their newer staff members were equally amazing! In fact these 2 dives got us even closer to the bull sharks, as they dangled the wheelie bin almost above us! It was awesome to be about 1m away from them! (But a dive master or instructor is always next to you, to fence them off with a pole if necessary! The bigger bull sharks are there more around winter time. It would be awesome to get up close to these boys too! But today's ones in mid- November were pretty big anyway!!! Thanks to all the staff for yet another amazing encounter! 😎👍

I first did the shark dive with BAD about 8 years ago, and have been bragging about it to my friends ever since. I was stoked to have the opportunity to go again this weekend, and it was just as amazing as (even better than?) I remembered, so I’m glad that my bragging will be able to continue.
There was lots of laughter on the boat and all of the divemasters were very friendly & knowledgeable about the sharks and other fish on the reef.
The shark dive itself felt super safe and was incredible. We saw probably about 10 or so bulls, a few lemons and a whole lot of reef sharks. The bulls are natural entertainers and love dodging at the last moment to snag a good tuna head. You’re a safe distance away but still nice and close to the action - though the divemasters will be sitting behind you with long metal poles to nudge any sharks that are a little too curious away.
The soft coral/wreck dive is perhaps a little less exciting but still fantastic - healthy reefs full of beautiful corals & a big variety of fish (clownfish, groupers, parrot fish, angel fish, triggerfish, lion fish… lots to look at!).
Vinaka vakalevu BAD, I will definitely be back! 🦈

I dove with Beqa divers in January of 2020. This was without a doubt one of the best days of diving I've experienced. The sharks are so close sometimes they hit you in the head with their tails when they turn. These dives are legit and the crew is awesome. They take safety very seriously as well as their education for the sharks you are about to see. Totally amazing, an absolute must do if you dive and are in Fiji. About 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from Denarau Island, so you have to leave around 5 AM.

If there were many more stars to give I'd absolutely give them! My husband and I are certified divers and were really looking forward to a dedicated shark dive. We were blown away! This shop and the teams that they have are EXCELLENT across all fronts. Not only are they direct, clear, professional, and kind, but they are a wealth of knowledge about sharks, the reefs, their conservation work and more in vernacular that anybody can understand and appreciate. Their passion is evident and their professionalism is the best I've experienced thus far among dive shops. I don't say that lightly because we've dived with a lot of different places in different countries but Beqa Adventure Divers took the cake! They are indeed strict about rules but every single one of them makes sense, has a purpose, and they are always kind about enforcing them. I was very appreciative of how their dives are operated and explained. We had such incredible dives and got to learn about the sharks and the reef in the surface interval time. They answered all of our questions and inspired me to want to know more and be more involved in work like theirs. I never once felt unsafe or unsure of anything with these teams and the diving. We saw anywhere from 15-25 sharks at a time and got to see a somewhat rare tiger shark! If you have even an ounce of hesitation take this review as a sign to book the dives! You won't regret it!

AOW diver. Did the Fiji shark dive and i cannot recommend it more for people that love sharks. The first dive was done in 3 levels one at 30m with the feeding virtually in front of me to see the big bull sharks. Even though it is closer than other shark dives and adrenaline goes up there were two safety divers right next to me so i felt very safe. Second stop at 10m where the big lemon sharks take the stage and third stop at 5m to see the whitetips. Amazing dive. Great atmoshere on boat with the guys singing and joking. The second dive of the morning was also a shark dive at a different location. Overall A+. Many thanks to all guys and the briefing of the dive was focused, knowlegable and to the point. This is a dive i consider unique and i will repeat it next time im in Fiji.

Reading a lot of reviews about qualification, surely if the dive is 30 metres you should strictly be Advanced Open Water???
Perhaps the company can answer this, why are un qualified people being allowed to 30 Meters??

I don't want to ruin anyones bussinesse or blame anyone etc. I just want to know a bit more about the incident and how it looked from someone elses view.

When (what time) will the morning and afternoon tours depart? Where is the meet up point?
Written June 22, 2019
I did the morning one: “Check-in at our dive base at Lagoon Resort in Pacific Harbour is at 8:00am, departure at 8:30 and we return about 12:30pm.”
I thought the afternoon one was at 1pm but I could be wrong. Give them a call 👍🏾 hope you get Ben as your master guide; He was a boss!!

Does this dive allow first time divers or is it for experienced divers only?
Written February 15, 2019
Email them directly but be honest with your skills + experience as there's no point risking your/others health. If people are less skilled in the water they can put you close to an instructor they'll stay close to you.
