Loved our evening of drinks before heading into Fairhope at this historic, warm lodge-feeling golf club. Alex was our bartender and he was exceptional. Knowledgable, attentive and friendly. If you're staying at the Grand Hotel sneak over to this hidden gem for a drink.. Even if you're not playing golf.

Very playable course, fun to play with my 17 year old son. We both enjoyed our round! Would highly recommend to others who are in the Mobile, AL area!

We played the Azalea course. It is a lovely course. Very playable. Conditions were good. The greens were very smooth. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Had lunch at the club after the round. Best seafood bisque ever. The BLT was awesome too. Our server was great. Very welcoming even though it is a members facility (sometimes they aren't).... More

Challenging, well groomed, nice staff. Robert Trent Jones Trail course. Dogwood course is heavy on water holes and is difficult. Had a great time!

The Dogwood course is a good layout with water in play on many of the holes. As a group it has a great set of par three holes. Course was in good shape for this early in the spring. Unfortunately they had the driving range shut down but had provided hitting nets to allow for a little warm-up

My wife and I just played the Azalea Course. The greens are excellent and the views very nice. We got the package with a room at the Grand, the golf price dropped considerably. Overall, a great experience.

Played Lakewood Golf Club in an outing. The course is beautiful and was in very good condition. There are two 18-hole courses. They are called the Dogwood Course and Azalea Course. Both are par-72. The staff was great. There is both sand and water, but not in excess. A fun and challenging round of golf can be had.

We play Lakewood every year with the GS Coffee Club. Both courses are beautiful as well as relaxing to play. We have a lot of fun on these courses just because they are so beautiful. After a round we go the The Grand Hotel Marriott Resort across the way for cocktails and more beauty. Great way to spend the day.

We visited late Oct and lucked in with great weather and great conditions on the course. It rained heavily the two days before we arrived but this course obviously drains very well. Great reception, they put us out on the back 9 first as the front was busy with a group of high school kids and we had the 9... More

This is a beautiful and well maintained course and service and price were excellent. I played with a girlfriend after a group of us played at The Grand Hotel course. We had a much better experience.

Thank Kathy G
