Was recommended we visit here and was very pleased. The smells are wonderful and overwhelming. Walking in the building is worth the visit and the assortment of candies and treats are enticing. Lots and lots of things to choose from. Brings back memories of classic shops. Well worth the visit.

If you're anywhere near Fairhope, it's well worth making the side trip to visit. It's a small family operation, so don't expect a tourist trap or corporate operation. Amazing amount of selection, keeping that in mind. Loved their chocolate caramels but the fudge seemed a bit dry. Service was friendly and prices were fair. Lots of nostalgia to see in the nearby hallways.

All I can say is English Toffee covered in milk chocolate. So much to try! So hard to decide! Good thing she offers samples.

We rode bikes from the Grand Hotel to this little candy shop. The shop is in an old house and most things are made on location. The lady working in the candy shop was super friendly.

It was a rainy day and we went down to Point Clear and stopped here. The selection of handmade candies and treat was eye popping. They have samples of most of the items os you can taste before you select what to take home. It was all very good, especially the pecan pralines.

Punta Clara Kitchen is a unique store, a mile away from The Grand Hotel and next door to the Wash House Restaurant. If you are a "sweet" lover like I am, you'll love the home made jellies, jams, candy, pralines, and more....all made right there at the Kitchen. What's more, they offer FREE SAMPLES, so that you can "try before you buy." We were there before Easter, and bought enough to fill all our grandchildren's baskets.

We stopped in here to see the shop. It is actually an old house. There were many samples around. I thought the prices were somewhat high. There were lots of different kinds of fudge, pecans, chocolates, etc.
My boyfriend, who grew up coming here, wanted to bring me for since it has been around a long time. It was a fun stop for the nostalgia of the place.

My partner and I spent 50.00 on a few prices of mediocre candy and I asked to use their restroom. I was asked " well is it an EMERGENCY"? And I was told that their restroom is not for public use "BECAUSE ITS NOT UP TO HEALTH DEPARTMENT CODE".... ??? Whaaa ???.. And the candy IS NOTHING SPECIAL, ESPECIALLY FOR THE RIDICULOUS PRICES. NEVER AGAIN.! 😤

I bought several types of candy. I asked if there was a bathroom . I was told that the bathroom they had was no public restroom. It is intended for emergency use only.It is not up to health dept regulations. Incidentally there was a child's party occurring that time. Not returning

This shop is actually an old house. We felt as if we were intruding in someone's home. We were shown two small rooms with candies for sale and encouraged to try the many samples sitting about in small open dishes. The products seemed over priced. We preferred the selection and prices at the Fresh Market in Daphne instead.
