I had the worst service today at turkey creek some wanna be park ranger comes down with a attitude, plus we just got there and theres people already in the water and he demanded my group of friends to leave the place and to never come back, KEEP IN MIND I HAVENT EVEN GOT INTO THE WATER OR BEGAN MY HIKE YET, then as we ask questions he says “leave or imma call the cops” this needs to be handled with ASAP and he’s white male, 6,0 with brown beard wore hat with sun glasses, the way he talked to us and threaten to call the cops is uncalled for we wasn’t even there 30 mins this is so ridiculous and tired of people getting to abuse there power!!!!!

We arrived about 10:00am, admission is free. There are multiple trails for any skill level, from easy to moderate. We chose the Narrows, which is a bit over 3 miles. The trails are very well maintained, and Turkey Creek is beautiful. We will definitely go back during the summer and try out tubing the creek.

We took our six year old son, and he had a ball riding a tube down the “rock waterslide”. You can relax on a float at the base of the waterfalls where the water is calm or ride the waves if you are more adventurous. We were there on a Saturday when there were two Turkey Creek NP employees who were monitors (not lifeguards). Get there before 11 to avoid the heavier crowds after 2pm. The drive is a little off the beaten path, but it is well worth the trip if you like being around water or natural beauty.

This is a gorgeous wildlife preserve with beautiful views! It's a popular swimming area, but be aware that the rocks are VERY slippery.
