I’ve been parasailing with large groups a handful of times in Orange Beach. Top Tier & the Captain/crew of the Lone Shark were the best at checking us in efficiently, being so kind, and making sure everyone in our group had so much fun! The pictures were fantastic, the Captain was funny & entertaining, and our group had a blast! Thank you for a great time!

Amazing experience. River and Thomas were funny, professional, great with young children, were great with passengers that were scared. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. Photo package is well worth the money, also.

This is our 2nd excursion with tia company. First time was great but my kiddo chickened out. She decided to do it this time around and they made it worth her while. Chase and Chen were so funny and entertaining and calmed her nerves. They even Picked On her a bit and made it extra fun. Making a 16 year old have fun is not easy lol. They even gave us a special dunking at the end to make it super memorable! Worth every penny. The photos were better than anything we could’ve gotten with our phone camera

We booked a trip on March 6, for the 1:30 cruise time, while the water was a bit choppy at the harbor when we got out on the main water, it was HORRIBLY choppy! The 'captain' even told us that we may want to hold on to the railing above and behind us, as we went on the water was so bad that it was bouncing all of on the boat up out of our seats and slamming us back down. The boat was actually lifted up about 2feet and dropping back down with a slam, we were going at a higher rate of speed thru this. It was within a few minutes of going that I became very sea sick to the point of gagging and throwing up. The captain said, 'if you're getting sick lean over the rail, not in the boat'. to which I replied, I am trying! but with the boat bouncing so high and hard, I was afraid to lean over the edge for fear of being tossed overboard. Eventually I was moved up to where I could lean over the edge more easily. As I continued to be sick 2 other people were getting sick. The captain did call in after our trip and tell them to cancel the 2:30 trip as the water was too rough to go out, yet he kept us out there the whole trip of about an hour. We had used this location in the past with no problems, it seems like profit was more important that passenger safety that day.

Top Tier Water Sports is robbing people with hidden charges. My total charges are $285 for 3 people and 48 photos. They signed me with an explaining cost will be $333 including everything, and charged $404 dollars next day. Photos didn't receive as they promised, after five phone calls they said photos were ruined because the camera wasn't working right. On top of that, they charged 18%, 61 dollars gratuity charges, without informing a customer about the total value of all the charges and took the signatures.

The experience was nice as far as actually parasailing. You’re only up in the air for about 7 minutes. You feel like you’re gliding in ultra slow motion once you’re up in the air. Personally, being dipped into the water was the best part. However, they didn’t ask if you wanted to be dipped so beware and speak up before you go if you have your mind set on staying dry. They did have a waterproof pelican case for keys, wallets, and phones while on board. We had 8 passengers on our trip which equated to 3 parasail rides. You simply observe and ride while the others have their 7 minutes in the air. We were scheduled on the 9:50am ride and were back in our car by 10:35am.

They don’t allow you to have your phone or take pictures so the picture package is a must if you want to record your experience. $35 is reasonable but about half of the 70 pictures on our SD card were blurry. The ones that turned out were decent but most of them had the tethering rope across one or both of our faces. If you’re set on taking your own pictures bring a water proof disposable camera, which we were later told is allowed.

My dissatisfaction comes from Hunter’s foul language on a family attraction and how him and Giovanni cat called and whistled at women passing who were putting up sails on their boat. I felt that was a bad example for the young boys on the boat and a sexist move. Can we please do better at not objectifying women.

We used the code COM360 to get $10 off our reservation.

They were running on time and the check-in woman was pleasant and informative. The boat was full and we thought they would get more time in the air. We had four riders and they each got less than 10 mins in the air. It was disappointing! The crew was great, energetic and fun! This place is more expensive than other but was only one available. Book early somewhere else!! $80 is too much for a 40 minute boat ride and 8 minute parasailing. We paid for pictures and they took 125 pics and 10-15 were very good! One bright side... when you drop the kids off to parasail, Tacky Jacks is right next door and their Bushwackers are amazing!! Don’t get just one, one will piss you off, buy at least two!!

Very disappointed by this entire experience. Scheduled a parasail adventure for 3 groups of 2. Paid almost $600 including tip for a special experience for our group. Showed up 30 minutes in advance as instructed. Could not locate the “tiki hut” of the business for another 10. Finally make it to the location and pay for 6 people to parasail and 3 photo packages. Ask if there is a place that the two of us not going out with the group could wait and we were told to “grab a few of the chairs under the umbrellas until the resort people kick you off.” For $600 we couldn’t sit under a PROVIDED canopy? A simple beach umbrella or pop up canopy? Then our group heads out on a banana boat and receives ZERO assistance getting onto the parasailing boat. Not even the two children. My sister even commented to the first mate “You really don’t like your job do you?” because he was so crabby. He replied that it is a lot of responsibility and he is always stressed. The captain warmed up throughout the trip but really didn’t make it special for these parasailing newbies. Parasailing was a wonderful experience but I personally would choose another vendor in the future. Safety was never an issue but personalized interaction was.

If you pay with cash and don't have exact change, they round up. But they won't tell you that. They'll just hand back your change thinking you won't notice. When I questioned them, all I was told is "we don't have change, so we round up". By the way -- they rounded up $0.03 to the next dollar. I realize this might sound petty, but it's the principal that they didn't even say anything or give me the option to find $0.03 or just round down. I had just paid over $100 and they couldn't give up $0.03. Beware - they also go by Top Tier Watersports.

My advice is to chose another parasailing company. The young men driving the boat were irresponsible and intent on scaring the passengers. Our party of six included 2 adults and children ages 18, 15, 12 and 12. This was our first experience parasailing and we told our “captains.” The younger passengers were a bit timid but very excited to try something new. We did not receive any instruction, one person in our group was not given a harness and no explanation as to why was offered, everything was so rushed we couldn’t ask questions, and before we knew what was happening the we left the dock. I started looking for a harness for my son but was told they didn’t have any to fit him. When we reached the ocean the boat was driven extremely fast and became an unexpected thrill ride. By the time a harness was found for my son the boat was too unstable for him to put it on. It was so unnerving that 2 people in our group refused to parasail.

Parasailing is great fun but find another company that is more responsible and staffed by workers who are not interested scare tactics
