Played the Links, and I am still not sure why it is called that. No ocean, not a lot of undulation, and tree lined. Anyway, it was in good condition, but play was slow due to cart path only. I would not play this course again if it was cart part- too long, and too slow. I believe people come... More

The Grand National Lakes course was our first RTJ golf experience. We will play this course again next time we are in town! The grounds were immaculate. The aroma of the gardinias and magnolias was exquisite. The perfect setting for a challenging round of golf. Great service at the 19th hole.

First time to play the RTJ courses in Opelika. Definitely worth the trip. Lake course is a stop on the PGA tour, Barbasol tournament. If you want to experience a PGA course, give this one a shot. Links course is challenging as well. Fun lay out that will test you. If you are a golfer, put both of these courses... More

This course is home to the Barbasol Open in July. It is a beautiful lay out. It has all the length you want and views to die for. The staff was very helpful and the course was in great shape.

Excellent courses and great service. Greens were in great shape and typical RTJ style, most were elevated and lots of undulation. Pin placements today were very tough. Course design was excellent for both the Links course and the Lake course. Absolutely beautiful setting. The lake course is one of the best we've played on Alabama.

This was my third visit to this fabulous golf venue and I never tire of the gorgeous vistas and the challenges of water, woods and hills. The legend, of course, is that Robert Trent Jones buried one or two elephants in every green. Without excavation, there is no reason to dispute the legend. Certainly the number of 3 and 4... More

One of the best and most beautiful golf venues I've ever played! The staff were super helpful and friendly. I lost a hat on the course and they went out of their way to find it for me. The clubhouse served great food and a very reasonable price too. Highly recommended!!

Three excellent courses that challenges all levels of golfers. Tee placements can be difficult but fun to play. Tournament staff, from the Director to the Caddies, were extremely professional and courteous.

No security in parking lot... Had my phone and golf clubs stolen from car. Never thought about leaving things clearly visible in my car. Will not be making that mistake again. Golfers beware.

This is one of the premier locations on the RTJ Golf Trail. Has two 18 Hole courses (The Lakes Course and the Links Course) along with a Short Course. The courses are very good with each offering a different challenge. Well maintained and offer a tremendous value. Club House has a good Pro Shop and offer breakfast & lunch through... More
