Quick stop

Quaint small town with some historic old buildings. We took a short walk around the post office and church. Very very quiet and peaceful place.

Small historic town with lots of character and charm. Nice size that you're able to park at the front and the walk around while taking pictures and walk back into time.

Our friends introduced us to Mooresville after they attended a Holiday Home Tour and Progressive Dinner. We couldn't make the dinner in 2014, but did a drive through one day and decided to book the home tour and dinner for 2015. You can drive through any time at no charge, but the homes are only opened a few times a... More

Very nice historic town. Loved the very old post office. And the churches in this small town. Mooresville had some pretty homes. A must see if you are traveling just west of Huntsville.

Stopped for a nice drive around on our way to Birmingham, glad we did. The area is small and there are dead ends but very quaint.

This is a little town that time forgot. The different style and age of the homes vary but all are simply gorgeous. It's not a very big place but you will want to make sure to take lots of photos..

Too many travelers whiz by Mooresville and never realize what they have missed. Take a few minutes to exit into history. In just a few minutes you can see a small Alabama village that will take you back. There is not really much to do in Mooresville but to ride through the quiet streets and lanes and just soak up... Mooresville is a very quaint historic community. Most of the buildings are private residences. It is very easy to feel like you have traveled back 100 years as you walk around the beautiful community which is sort of a hidden gem right off of the interstate.
