Phillip's tour was really great. He is very knowledgeable of the City, and he takes great pride in his community. The Civil Rights Tour was an excellent introduction to the most important Civil Rights sites. After the tour, I visited the locations I found most interesting. Phillip anwered all my questions in a thoughtful way. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to this vibrant and historical southern City.

Our family of 4 took this tour a few years ago and had a great time! We are from Montgomery, so already knew about most of the places we toured, but this was a new and exciting way to see them. The Segway took a little getting used to for me, but our teenagers picked it up quickly.

Did the longer Civil War/Civil Rights your and would definitely recommend it. Philip did a great job leading the tour and knew loads of fascinating info about the city and the history of the State. He is clearly proud of his city and that pride and passion shine through. A great start to our visit to Montgomery. Thanks Philip!

We came to Montgomery for a short two-night stay to see the Legacy Museum & Memorial, travel to Selma and help our kids learn about and better understand US race history and the civil rights movement. Phillip’s Segway tour was our first stop and a great introduction to Montgomery. Seeing the city on Segways was great fun! Everyone we passed wanted to join us. Phillip knows his city well, and you can tell he loves it. It was great learning not just about Montgomery’s history, but also how it is currently revitalizing itself with new development that still preserves its culture and historical place in America’s civil rights movement. I can’t imagine a better way to be introduced to Montgomery and help decide how to spend your time there. We left Montgomery with new respect and love for it, due in no small part to what we learned from Phillip.
