On a fall weekday, the boat was not cruising and there was no one around the entire area. Had no trouble finding a space in the pay lot as it was mostly empty. When we arrived, it also started raining chasing most folks indoors to...More

This is a nice venue for festivals, music, and food trucks. The summer months are great and I think it underutilized in the fall and winter.

Early afternoon the first week in October on a Tuesday may not be a time to go. There was a cruise ship tied up at the dock and that's it. No people and no activities. Other than a short stroll by the river, which was...More

We walked the area and were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the area around the park. The statue of Hank Williams was nice and provided a good start to seeing the park. Union Station an old RR Depot is a nice large and well...More

Didn’t see anything special about this park, but I was there on a day when there really wasn’t much going on. I’m sure if I returned when there was an event taking place I’d probably have a different opinion.

We parked free of charge right by the train station. Lights were coming on. Our disabled son loved them. An easy walk down to the river. It was a beautiful sunset. Enjoyed the street music.

So the River walk is interesting. The statue of Hank Williams is cool. Then we walked over and checked out the old train depot and the train shed. There is a unique statue of a solider and a Native American. There is a Steam boat...More

We checked out the park after exploring the train depot area. It looks like it could be wonderful if a festival or concert is occurring. We didn’t stay too long.
