We checked out the park after exploring the train depot area. It looks like it could be wonderful if a festival or concert is occurring. We didn’t stay too long.

We took a stroll after our museum visit and came upon the Riverfront Park. It's a nice area and I imagine the area is very lively after dark.

Park downtown (meters take quarters; no need to feed them after 6 p.m.) and walk down to the riverfront. Stop at the Visitors Center while you're down there.

We stayed within walking distance and enjoyed a stroll around the riverfront. If you are nearby, go!

Another great addition to Montgomery! Many good festivals going on, concerts, a nice splash pad for little ones! Google for activities!

Nice waterfront park to stroll and relax on the grass berm or on the benches. Benches face the river for views of the water and Steamboat docked there.

This is the sight where thousands of slaves arrives in Montgomery to be sold. None of this history is discussed in any detail. Where are the historical markers discussing the significance of the rail road, and the river port to the slave trade, and how...More

Good park to stroll around with family and friends. Nicely located close to Downtown, Restaurants, Bars & Hotels. Not too shabby!

The park is nice and it is clean but there is not a lot to do on the water. There is an apitheater but only has occasional entertainment. The River Boat, Harriott II is also a nice addition but must have reservations and does not...More

I'm sure it was due to the time of year, but no one was there ... I mean absolutely no one. I can see it would be a great summer hot spot with a concert venue at the same location.
