One of my favorite things about living in Montgomery is having the ASF right here in town. The productions are all first rate. When someone attends a show here for the first time, they are usual blown away by the atmosphere and the performance. If you have never attended, it is a real treat. If you are visiting town and... We went to Montgomery to the Shakespeare theatre to see their production of Beauty and the Beast and it was an outstanding production. The acting, dancing, singing, costumes, props and stage sets were all top notch! Every staff person we met were friendly and helpful. We told a grandchild with us and all three us were thoroughly entertained! This was... More

One of my favorite places in Montgomery! The plays here are always fantastic. I've seen Mary Poppins, Taming the Shrew, A Midsummer Nights Dream, The Little Mermaid, and more. Would recommend this for any family or friends night out. Definitely a little pricey but totally worth it!

I had heard about this but never been. My mistake! It is SO nice! We saw a Midsummer nights dream and it was super! They have great talent and the grounds and all properties are just nice. Super classy place to hang out!

My boyfriend surprised me with tickets to see A Midsummer Night's Dream for my birthday and the experience was just wonderful! A beautiful production and a wonderful theatre. The grounds are exceptionally kept and the park is fantastic for walking and relaxing!

I was always one of the biggest fans of ASF. I attended annually throughout the 1990s and early 2000s - we would go see 5 plays in a weekend. It was the most fabulous, well-produced theater - we would usually see 3-4 Shakespeare plays and 1-2 new and/or non-Shakespeare plays. The actors were fantastic and it was so much fun... More

On this anniversary year of Shakespeare's death, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival production of a Midsummers night dream is a fitting tribute. A highly talented & energetic cast use every word to its best advantage. Great costume & set design. A world class production. Congratulations.

I arrived on the wrong day, but a woman returned a ticket that exact moment, so I saw Driving Miss Daisy, which was very, very good. The acting is excellent. Lovely setting and huge, rolling grounds. The Octagon theatre is a great size.
