The planetarium's open-to-the-public shows are Monday-Thursday at 4pm and Sunday at 2pm. We saw a presentation about meteorites and meteors...from their origin billions of years ago to their effects up to the present. Shows change every month. Our show lasted about an hour, with the...More

What can be better than relaxing in a cool, dark room, gazing up at the stars? If your looking for something to do that isn't expensive and gets you out of the heat, this is it! We all enjoyed it and the narrator did a...More

Well let's start off by saying we had a good time but we thought it ran a little long. The show started at 2pm and we left at 3:20pm. First off, it has been completely renovated. Brand new seats and a new projector. The first...More

We went to the Planetarium on a week day as a group of military spouses/children. They let us jump in with a 3rd grade class. The show was geared toward children, so some of the spouses were a little bored. The movie didn't really teach...More

This is a very nice planetarium. It's nicer than I expected in Montgomery. When it's sweltering outside, cool off and view the stars

Can you please list the hours for this week Monday March 30th 2015 thru Monday April 6th 2015. Also I need the amount it would cost to get in please for adults, teenagers and elementary school age kids. Thanks. I went with my sons class here a few years ago and absolutely LOVED it. My daughters have wanted me to bring them ever since then and I thought since its spring break for us this week and its suppose to rain all week we are looking for things to do. When I went with my sons class the man that was teaching our group said sometimes they have "special" days and activities for the kids so if there are any special extra activities please let me know what and which days. Thank You. Sincerely, Caffey Carpenter-Hammac, Brewton, Alabama
