Bring an appetite to Mobile’s LoDa neighborhood for a gourmet tour that blends local history with treats from gumbo to crawfish and praline. It’s a delicious way to eat lunch without limiting yourself to one meal, and you’ll get a delicious look into the city’s cuisine while learning about three centuries of Mobile history.

Just okay, much weird and uninteresting items, not much historical items. Okay if you can get in free but not worth paying for.

I never would have expected Mobile to have such a lovely art museum so I was happily surprised. I enjoyed the art tremendously and the contemporary building that houses the collections was fabulous. The ladies who worked there couldn’t have been nicer.

Fabulous collection in a compact space. Well organized and curated. Loved the quirky and exotic chair collection. I've visited art museums in St Petersburg Russia and Vienna Austria. This one compares favorably. Staff were super nice. Worth a visit and the museum is in a beautiful park like setting. One of the highlights of my stay in Mobile.

This place was awesome and huge with over 10,000 art pieces. I love contemporary art and I was not disappointed. Each section of the museum has a guard to make sure you don't touch anything and all of them were very friendly. After you are through with the museum take the time to look at the sculptures outside. You can also walk around a lovely pond. I would recommend this place to any contemporary art lover or if you just want to look at the sculptures and take a lovely outside walk. One of the most interesting exhibits was called the Bob Miller Reflectorama. They had flashlights at the entrance and then you walked into a dark room. As soon as you turned on the flashlights the place came alive.
