The facility is designed to handle a large crowd with experienced staff. The parking is not all that great unless you are staying on site where the facilities are very good.

We were here for five days of meetings. The place was very clean and well run. There wouldn't be anything to see if you didn't have a meeting there, but if you were considering it for a future meeting I thing you would be pleased.

This was a nice place for a convention, but it was like a meat locker. Freezing. The food was reasonable, the people were great. Overall, very nice, especially if you had thought to bring your jacket and mittens in June to Alabama.

Beautiful location, great parking, beautiful views, great photo ops. Friendly staff, and easy to work with. We were their as exhibitors at this event. Clean and presented well.

Seems like a good facility, with a lot of large areas for meetings and festivals and conventions, but the directions and parking can be very confusing. Restrooms are very outdated and unclean. Staff and service seems ok but not great.

I worked in the center for two, consecutive days and found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. The room was very nice and set-up perfectly for the event...quick turn-around, too. I took a tour of the new, updated restrooms, and they will be first-class. I would definitely recommend the convention center to other professional groups.

After I got to know the lay out I liked this convention center. The architecture is quite nice but as someone else commented all the stairs can be a problem. There are many front entrances and ways to get up to the main entrance, mostly stairs but there are elevators. Problem is they are not marked or easily visible. While... More

I know this can't be fixed but the main entrance is a huge problem. There are so many stairs, and if you are at a professional conference like I was, it makes it hard to walk in professional footwear. The water fountains in the main exhibit hall were also non-functioning, which is really annoying. The restrooms were constantly a mess... More

I was just here for two days of a five-day conference for the Southern Historical Assn. The venue seemed ideal for a conference: plenty of smaller rooms for panel presentations and larger rooms for book exhibits. Also, it was conveniently linked to the Plaza Riverview hotel. I had no problems with the restrooms like the other reviewer; however, the walls... More

I spoke with the general manager about the horrible conditions, very much outdated and unsafe of the restrooms. Ladies get locked in and you have to kick the wall to close the door while trying to use the restrooms. Was told in a year they will make improvements. They could start off with a five dollar or less lock for... More
