Private beach at Masjid Tanah

Beautiful beach with many kampung stay on the stretch. A great place to get away from the Malacca town and enjoy sunset view while having dinner at the warung.

Off the beaten path beach in Melaka

Pengkalan Balak Beach is paradise to beach lovers. Simple accommodation is available. For food, there's a Medan Ikan Bakar nearby which offer fresh seafood. Near the beach is a turtle hatchery. However, be mindful that there are no bathroom provided in these area. Avoid weekends as there'll be families picnicking & group's camping here.

Chillax kampong feel

Blend in with the locals here by having picnic under the trees. Else, thhre are also many eateries where u can sit & order your food while enjoying the sea breeze. The beach is amazingly clean!

Suitable for holiday

Along the way Pengkalan Balak, there are few stalls so the tourist can get food and beverages. The view also nice. Suitable for family vacation on weekends away from hustle and bustle of the city. You can enjoy the view of the Malacca with the ships passing by. Enjoy the holiday!

Interesting stop over

We traveled by the coastal road from Malacca to Port Dickson and stopped over for evening refreshments in a hut by the sea. It was very windy and the place looked different and unique. One needs own transport to get here. The beach was very nice and a long beach but could do with some cleaning up. The food served in the hut was okay only.

Nice beach near KL

Nice beach just 1.5 hours drive from KL... Not too crowded... Good for family gathering.. A lots of food stall nearby...

Do not expect much

I always wonder why tourist visited this beach? Maybe just to spend time with family in a Malay village environment. Quite packed during weekend though. You should try the horse riding at the beach.

the perfect place to relax

Although the beach is not very clean , but very suitable for relaxing with friends and family . Pengkalan Balak beach is a bit far from Melaka town. Fishing , banana boat rides are among the activities that can be done here

Lovely & Very Quiet Beach

Lovely & Very Quiet Beach. quite deep inside and not very near to melaka Town. So this consider like off the beaten path. Clean and less crowded with few restaurants near the beach.
