There are 2 shows from Thurs-Sunday, 7.45 & 9pm (30 mins show).Interesting drama with sound, light and dance. Two rows of fountain comes alive with light projection, as the story unfolds.
Get ready (with rain coat provided at the front section-wet section) for splash of water from the fountain. The show was short but quite interesting. As we enter, we got greeted by the actors in their costumes. Extra bonus, magic show after the Light show in front of the entrance.

This restaurant which is walking distance from Hotel Equatorial, Malacca, serves perankan (nonya) food which has a good variety of food choices. A Must is the delicious, authentic gula melaka chendol which I view as the best in Malacca. Prices reasonable.

it is more than sightseeing now in Melaka. Just visited The Pirate Adventure right opposite of A Farmosa Fort. it is a little scary for some though. Cool, dark, nicely decorated and if you don't mind scary experience, you can try it.
There are some real people inside with pirate costume you can take picture with. It is rather dark inside to take a good photo. If you are using mobile phone, try to use night mode. Oh yeah, there is one gigantic octopus.. suppose to look scary but i think it is cute.
i like the experience of being rather real yet my female friends were terrified and can hear their scream on the whole journey. Well, somtimes that is what we paid for right? hehehe
Ohh yes, there is a chance to win RM 10,000 treasure hunt as their new opening offer. tHe ticket price for adult is RM 20 (with mykad) and children 4 to 12 years is RM15. The experience will last approx 20 to 30 minutes depending whether you are a camera person. Ohh yeah, it is very cold inside. then when we came out to the hot sun.. sweat
Can try lahh.

After our hectic and rush excitement...here we are in Melaka...a state protected by UNESCO.It is a place where you find traditions and cultures together. The place is more lively at night.Had a real great time out there wandering along the roads...Some pictures to make you want to go out there.

We were here in 2016 and we had such an enjoyable time! This year, we come back, solely for this, i kid you not as my boys really wanted to experience the Piratw Adventure again...and was extremely dissapointed by how much it has gone downhill within the span of two years!
To start off, there was none of the spectacular night shows that they used to have, secondly, there was only 1 miserable pirate crew who followed us along in our exploration of the ship. No pop out pirates/crew to scare us as in 2016, we were scared witless last time; and tge ctew had fantastic maje up n prop to make you feel as though you are really in a pirate ship! though this 1 crew really tried his best by offering to take pics of us with the props inside....they still had their short movie show which we enjoyed...but that's it. For the price of about rm $100; certainly not value for $...compared to the wonderful experience we had in 2016; this is terrible indeed....my family aint coming back... a waste indeed for we truly felt this place had the potential to lure tourist to come to Melaka.

Bought my tickets at Matta Fair on Sept 2015. Already planned the trip to Melaka with my wife and my 22yo son for school holiday. Stated there will be 2 shows perday DAILY: 7.30pm and 9.00pm. We went there for 9pm show but no sign of opening (all lights are turned off). some sellers nearby told us there was no show the day before that too.. The back of our tickets stated "the management reserves the right to cancel any time show without prior notice".... Of course!

No show, pathetic short movie & yet the price is steep. At least inform that the show is not available and give discount. Else forget about visiting it

Me and some friends visited not long back and we really enjoyed the show! What I really liked about it - the colorful costumes, the music, the lights and the rain - yes, you will get wet. There's plenty to photograph here too. The theatrical performance is about 30 minutes long and is conducted in English.
