1. Poor in customer service please training your staff how to talk nicely with customer & smile this is very importance.
2. Please upgrade your water slide and find a solution how to make your water slide friendly user like a family raff slide nih I paid for all slide but can play just for one or two only?? Like that mehh so you can return my money back?? 😤😠
3. My family was disappointing with your service and they said this is the first time and last time we go here so please up grade your service if you don't want to lose your customer.

Nice waterslides, reasonable wait times and good pricing for what it’s worth. Changing rooms can get quite busy, though decent turnovers. Few waterslides were closed for maintenance and the lazy river could be a bit faster but overall good value and a good day out for a group of friends/people of all ages

There will be a list of observations and happenings during my visit recently (8th-June-2014). Firstly, I bought the entrance vouchers at a promotion counter in a shopping mall. So, I went straight into the water theme park, and park my car at RM3 charges. Went to the redemption counter to redeem my wrist tag. But the lady at the counter told me that I need to go to the D'Savon Apartment lobby (which is few km away) to redeem my ticket first before redeeming the wrist tag. I drove out from the car park and go to redeem the ticket (I am frustrated already). Back to the water theme park again, the parking attendant required me to pay another RM3 which I shouted at him that their sales and marketing guy didn't inform me all the procedures. At last, he let me in without further parking charges. Next, the signage inside the water theme park is lousy or should I say, not much signage available to guide you. Some parts of the flooring inside the theme park are so sharp that you can't walk bare foot on it. Thirdly, only 2 or 3 person guarding the food counter. Waited for 30mins for 5 pcs of fried chicken. And the price is enormously high. A small packed lunch of nasi lemak is RM12. And pack of nasi kandar with one chicken drumstick is RM30. Maintenance of the park is terrible. The shower room were flooded and the drainage was clogged. I highly DON'T recommend anyone to visit this water theme park.

We were very keen to try Water World after seing lots of advertising for it, but our visit was extremely disappointing.
This seems to be the Malaysian way. Build something and never maintain it. Some rides had no lifeguards. One ride had a lifeguard who was more interested in smoking.
The water was disgusting, I wouldn't get in. The toilets were horrendous. To make matters worse as foreigners we were charged more than Malaysian's. They should be encouraging foreigners to come not discouraging them with more expensive tickets.
Don't waste your money, you will definitely be disappointed.
This place should be closed down.

This establishment does not care about the safery of it attractions and the user/ customer, scarce life guard at the pool and water slide.
To top that, rude and careless worker who prefer chatting with friends over walkie talkie rather than attending customer.
My float was pushed down by the so called life guard when we have not even ready, I could have trip and fell off the slide.
I will never visit A'Famosa Water World again! Never ever ever!

This water-theme park is a rip-off tbh. Went there with my wife to have what I assumed a perfect water escape, but reality stepped in all too fast. From the maintenance starting from entrance till the water slides and all. Beware, some of the water slides are unsupervised! Petty things such as this you would think is covered but no. As a result, witnessed a people slamming into each other at the end of the rides. Safety is zero.
I left within 2 hours, with a disappointed feeling. I want a refund!
Still my vote goes for Sunway Lagoon.

Please dont be fooled frm what u see frm their website.
The place is entirely dilapidated.
Sinking my kids into their dirty pools is like dipping them in poison water.

We travelled 1.5 hours from KL to come here, in our opinion a waste of time. The park and surrounding areas are in poor state and poorly kept. The roads within the resort are terrible, full of pot holes and there is litter and discarded materials just left lying around. The whole place suffers from the typical Malay 'don't care' attitude with no apparent initiative to improve.
You cannot buy tickets on line without a meal included regardless or not of if you actually want one! That is a totally ludicrous concept. It would not be so bad if their food was good and there was a reasonable choice. However ALL choices are basically variations on chicken with rice and all are dreadful.
They really do need to improve as they are light years away from the standards of other water parks in other countries. The water park itself was a huge disappointment. Firstly the changing rooms are DISGUSTING, FILTHY and are a health hazard. The smell (of urine) is dreadful and the place looks and smells like they have never been properly cleaned. From what I witnessed they are just hosed out with water and no proper cleaning or disinfecting is ever carried out. Or, if it is it is certainly not done thoroughly!
They have a ridiculas weight limit of between 50kg and 80kg on a lot of attractions. I am all for proper health and safety regulations however they do not have such severe restrictions on the EXACT same attractions that I have been to in other countries. Besides, if that are really that concerned about health and safety they should perhaps look more closely at the hygiene standards in their changing rooms.
Their wave pool is pathetic! You wait around for 40 mins in a over chlorinated pool for nothing more than a few ripples lasting a minute or so. It really is a joke.
I could go on and on about how utterly dreadful this place is as a result of nothing more than bad management and staff. The really sad part is that they probably don't even realise there is a problem, however all I would say is stay away!

you have to pay 10rm extra to get a tube what you ned for some slides...everything looks dity and old...only 4 broken louchers in the area and no place for relaxing in the sun...most of the slides are closed and finaly no swimmingpool in the whole area!!!

Very dirty and hazy water everywhere: in the lazy pool, artificial wave pool, pools at all the slides, children's pool.. Every pool looked as though they were channelled from a nearby river. I was speechless when I saw a net that was used to filter the water in the lazy stream, because other than that, nothing else was seen to make this facility cleaner.
The ice cream cone was a fun, but landing into a pool of dirty water really turns me off.

As December 2019, no outside food is allowed to bring into A Famosa Water Theme Park.
They put the "No outside food allowed" poster art the entrance and they do bag checking before you entry.
