This is a lovely old fountain in the middle of the dutch quarter, right in front of the church. Provides a good backdrop for tourist photos ;)

Great spot for pictures but difficult to get a good one because there's so many people here, all trying to get a good pictures! This is tourist central, you can get the carriage rides here, 5-minute walk to a lot of the museums and historic areas in Melaka.

Located in the Dutch Square this water fountain is probably the best feature in the whole tourist attraction in the old part of Melaka. Popular with tourists for photos. The whole square is badly lit at night so there is no chance of a photo when it is not surrounded by a lot of tourists.

It's filled with great photo shops, souvenir shops, and things to see, especially when it's sunny out and looking beautiful You can find a lot of beautifully decorated cycle rickshaws. Near by you can find a "I love Melaka" structure which is very famous for selfies

In this area there are a couple of monuments or artefacts dedicated to Queen Victoria including the fountain in the Dutch Square. It is a central location next to the famous church and Stadhuys.

The water isn't always turned on, so the fountain itself isn't the draw by itself, but the surrounding area is wonderful. It's filled with great photo ops, souvenir shops, and things to see, especially when it's sunny out and looking beautiful. Go here for the square. :)

In front of the fountain is the bus stop. Frequency of bus is one per hour. its better to get the bus from other... More

The Queen Victoria's Fountain is not always sprouting with water. Most of the time it is off! However there is a Christchurch next to this and is worth a visit.
