Mar 2019
This fountain dedicated to the Queen Victoria is just in the middle of the Red Square.
Nice spot for taking some pictures.

Walked right by it and didn't really notice it until the return trip. Nice fountain, but not anything I'd go out of my way for,

An old fountain from Queen Victorias reign
Feb 2020 • Solo
Nothing overly exciting as fountains go. A reminder of the past, in Queen Victories reign. The design is alright ,and there was water flowing thru it. you can not miss it if your going to the Dutch Square

It's a fountain
Feb 2020
The Queen Victoria's Fountain is a Gothic style fountain in the landmark Ducth Square. The fountain almost seems out of place as it’s not painted red like the rest of the buildings around the square and of course the style is different from the Dutch Reform style of the architecture in the square. Sadly there was no water flowing when I was there as there’s currently a water shortage in Malacca. As Gothic fountains go, there’s nothing special about it, especially as there’s no water.

Historic Fountain

A British Fountain in the Red Square amongst the Dutch Clock Tower and Christ Church. A nice fountain and well kept. The British rule Malacca from 1811 taking over from the Dutch. Great history of Malacca.

Adjacent to Dutch Square - nice fountain with historic value - not a place you would go and see but of interest if you are passing by

MALAKA LANDMARK
Jun 2019 • Family
Queen Victoria Fountain is for honor the queen of England, Queen Victoria. Still to be one of the landmarks of the Melaka City which until now is still functioning.

The location is not far from Clock Tower and the 'I love Melaka' sign. I came during the holiday season so the place was full of tourists so it was difficult to take photos in this area.

Wasn't aware that this was an attraction, but there you go. You will see it when you see the surrounding buildings.

Interesting

This fountain is located in Dutch Square.
There are almost no British buildings or other memorials to commemorate British rule here.
The fountain is great and works well.
