The first part of the rivercruise is exciting as we are fascinated with the colourful lights and beautiful mural drawing of the buildings alongside the river. The second part is quite boring since the cruise take a U turn back to the jetty. However, if u missed any photoshoot this is a good time to catch up. The cleanliness of... More

It's time for you to enjoy the beautiful banks of river. The river banks are well maintained and clean. The river banks are occupied with old and new structures of different age's. There are tourist boats running in river. This river was once life line of malacca. And it carried the goods to different warehouse in region.

A colourful and interesting walk along Malacca river filled with interesting old buildings and will also find many unusual trades , eateries, temples and bridges. Many of the building have been converted to backpackers' lodging and eateries. Unfortunately there isn't enough activities to create a lively atmosphere for visitors,

Beautiful for a long walk along the river. You don't need a boat tour for this! There are also a lot of bars and restaurants in the evening opened. Very nice!

We have been coming to Malacca for 20 years. We have seen the river go from a smelly, slimy body of water to a clean and spruced-up riverway which allows scenic boat rides. The areas on both sides of the river have also been beautified and brought up to the standard worthy of a UNESCO heritage site. It's so nice... More

The river is winding in the city, and there are some nice views alongside. But the river itself is polluted and smelly. We decided not to take the river cruise partly because the water was dirty, and partly because it went round trip, which was not convenient for us (we wanted to get off at the upper end of the...
