Great spot

Interesting place to wander around, nice walk along the walls, very nice view up and down the coast. No entrance fee and relatively few people there when we visited.

Visit only if you are on a south goa driving trip. Nothing worth seeing in this place. Not as well maintained as Aguada fort in the North. According to me, a waste of time.

The fort is nothing much to talk about. But the view of the sea and coastline is really worth it. It's a protected site but the moat is full of plastic bottles and all kinds of filth! When will we learn to keep our heritage clean??

There's no hours posted at the fort. We stayed for sunset and didn't realize the fort entrance had been locked from the inside and outside. The fort is surrounded by cliffs and a very deep waterless mote. We had to scale around the front wall to the left of the entrance, if facing it from outside. We did this in... More

This fort is a true beauty considering the historical architecture behind it, also this place offers a great view of the sea and the cabo de rama beach....I will advise you not to visit this for during day time or during summers..a good fort to give a visit.

The Cabo de Rama fort is situated in South Goa very close to the Palolem and Agonda beaches. The pros of visiting this place would be the fantastic views from the top and the lovely ride/drive to the fort through small villages and cashew plantations. The cons are that there is not much to do once there. Even for the... More

This fort dates back to the pre-portuguese era housing some of the rusted canons from those times. There is nothing much to do or explore here except the magnificent view of the deep blue waters and scope of some really good snaps with the fort walls and water in the background for the shutterbugs. Also, it makes for a scenic... More

Cabo De Rama completely depends upon how adventurous you are. The fort is almost gone but has left behind some spell bounding views and if you go down from the stairs you will be gifted with even better surroundings and a small rock climbing opportunity. We went till the extreme end climbing over the rocks and wading through the water. At... More

A picturesque fort with huge ramparts. An excellent place to go for an outing. Those interested in adventure must explore this fort.
