This is a must place to visit if you want little adventure and want to enjoy your drive. I drove from Margaon till Cabo de Rama and never saw such lush green forests at both sides of the road, frequent showers of rain made the journey so memorable. The road has all surprises for you valleys, sharp and beautiful turns,... More

Hidden away in the Southern tip of Goa is this marvelous old Portuguese fort. Greatly dilapidated, what remains are of course the fortifications, a big moat on the land side and a beautiful church in service. A walk along the ramparts yields some breathtaking views of the sea taking on the cliffs, wearing them out, one wave at a time.... More

Its nice and quite. Very good view from the top of the fort. trees all around provide the shade to relax. Ignore the love signs and messages written on the walls of the fort. Unfortunately there is no guard inside the fort to restrict people for damaging the heritage site.

This place is little far away from south goa or north goa. The travel to this place is super good with secluded roads and paddy fields and buses. The view of ocean on top of this for is very nice.

The Agoda equivalent of South Goa, a super view from a fort (a collection of old walls of a Fort rather) located at a great place. The drive is just amazing, the roads are great & so are the scapes. Must visit when in South Goa!

So we were staying in South Goa and this was on the schedule. It is a good 24 kms from Palolem. A really secluded place and a fort that barely exists. This makes it a must see. Like Aguada, one gets the view of the sea from a high view point. The drive has some really long winding roads and... More

Worth visiting while you explore South Goa. Not as popular as the Chapora or Aguada in the North Goa, but it's less popularity allows it to be one of the calm places to visit.

Maratha king Sambhaji Raje built this Fort. Nova Conquesta added this part of Goa in portuguese colony and named it Cabo De Rama i.e. Cave of rama on learning from myths from aboriginal locals.. Very Nice Beach on the right side of the fort.. Its a typical sunset beach.. There is only one shack & Huts may be max 10.... More
