Most the beaches are not too well kept, the water can not be compared to andamans or other places in south India, yet nice to hang around and have seafood.

We stayed at a hotel on Candolim beach road and this was the closest beach to is where we spent most time. All the beach shacks were closed during September, and the beach was little peaceful. We got foot massage at Rs 100 on this beach (low season). Overall great views, and we enjoyed at this beach.

This was a nice beach we visited in morning. We stayed at candolim so we went for morning bath here. Peaceful beach. Avoid visiting in nights if you are family.

Beach is cleaner and less crowded than Baga which is why I prefer Candolim over Baga! But during monsoons, most shacks were closed

Beautiful beach and accessible to both young and old. Best time to visit is either in the early morning or just after sunset. Much better crowd than Calangute and great spread of restaurants, temporary shacks as well as permanent ones. The road leading up to the beach is also filled with tinker shops and we got ourselfs so decent stuff.... More

One of the most beautiful beaches of North Goa. My trip to Goa never ends unless I visit this beach. Away from the touristy hustle-bustle of Baga, Calangute and Anjuna, Candolim is close to the best market place of North Goa. There are less shacks in this beach but sometime you need a quite time with sea-shore and sunset.. Must... More

Candolim is near by Baga beach. Crowded during seasons. But nevertheless its good one. I would suggest to take some hotel nearby area so that you can walk from hotel to beach.
