Informative and nice view

The place is not that great and big. But its worth the visit. The history information in the middle of the ford is very informative. The view to the sea is also very nice.

Surely a must visit place if you planning goa trip. No itenary is complete without a visit to this Historical place. Few of the salient points from my visit 1. It is one of the place in Goa which ll not disappoint you in terms of tracking, different experience, history and above all view of the sea where river and sea are merging in front of your eyes. Must visit for all for first goers but we went there on our every visit.

Fort Aguada is situated in North Goa at Sinquerim Beach. It provides a beautiful view of Arabian Sea. Built in 1612 by Portuguese it is still very well maintained.

It's basically a lighthouse in a fort ..!! A light house used to signal olden day ships about the port. It's built like a fort with trenches around it to prevent invasion. Good view of the sea. Awesome green gardens.!! Place of interest for history lovers. Requires walking a bit (1.5km atleast,to go in and come out). Closes by 5:30pm.... More
