Our mission is to provide high-end therapeutic massage services in a caring, upscale, professional environment. We offer massage in a variety of styles - traditional Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Pre- and Perinatal Massage, Hot Stone, Oncology Massage and couples massage.

I am very picky on my massages. Main reason I became picky because if I make the time to do it I want it to be effective. I have actually gotten up from tables due to the therapist not listening to my needs. I moved to Huntsville last summer and finding a massage therapist to step in for my awesome one from where I moved I knew would be stressful :-). After various searches and appts I found Journey. I have worked with two therapist there and can I say AWESOME! They listen to my medical/massage needs and address them! I suffer from migraines and I preach to people all the time that massage therapy should be part of a preventive medicine for migraines. I also appreciate the kindness of each team member I have encountered just at front desk as well! Though I don’t want to give their names because means less time for me lol but Rachel and Katie are amazing but I have a feeling that all the therapist live to the same standards. The owner(or manager) seems she has high standards and I appreciate that as a customer who isn’t rich but I rather spend money on massage therapy and not pill medicine:-). Just my thoughts. Go to Journey!! Invest in your self!!! Invest in your mental and physical health!!!

Took my husband for a Couples Massage to relax and work on some sore muscles after yard work. THANK YOU, Rachel and Emily!! Expert body work, lovely, peaceful, clean location. Big happy sigh!

I had pulled a muscle in my neck - went to JTM and Lauren was able to work it out and I feel great. I always leave relaxed and feeling great.

Avoid this place if you can. My recent experience at Journey Therapeutic Massage was very disappointing. I had booked a 30-minute massage session and arrived early. The massage began on time, but to my surprise, the masseuse concluded the session 3 minutes earlier than scheduled. Despite the unprofessional conduct, I still provided a good tip.
On their website's "massage policies" section, they outline a policy for lateness, where they charge customers for exceeding the scheduled appointment time, a policy I understand. However, I was puzzled as to why the same standard didn't seem to apply to their own adherence to schedules. Afterwards, I contacted them through their website to express my concerns, hoping for an explanation regarding the double standard in their treatment of customers and staff.
Of course I did not receive a response to my complaint, leaving me unsure if they had received it. In an effort to give them another chance, I reached out months later to book a session with a different masseuse. Turns out the receptionist confirmed that they were aware of my previous message. Nevertheless, without hearing me saying anything, she outright dismissed my experience, asserting that their records (which is not transparent to customers) indicated no time shortage, and they can not provide me with any future services.
Experiencing someone outright deny your own lived experience and attempt to dictate your perception is incredibly frustrating. It's especially disheartening when honesty is met with what feels like retribution. I refrained from immediately sharing my encounter, opting for private communication in the hope that they might genuinely improve. Regrettably, their response has left much to be desired. Their approach doesn't align with how reputable businesses should operate. While their popularity may stem from the scarcity of quality massages in Madison, their biased treatment of customers only raises concerns about their transparency and accountability.
On a personal note, I've been a massage enthusiast for over a decade. While massages provide momentary relief, they're not a definitive solution. It's important to focus on building stronger muscles. Consider seeking out a qualified PT to work on strengthening your neck muscles, that’s the only way to solve the root cause of tension.

Journey Therapeutic Massage was great! From the time I walked in for my appointment all of the ladies there were so caring and made me feel super welcome and comfortable. Tiffany gave me my massage and was awesome, she is so sweet and kind. Would definitely go again and highly recommend!!

I won a gift certificate to Journey Therapeutic Massage back in June of this year! I was pleased to find that the location was 10 minutes away from me! I scheduled an Intense Relief One hour massage with Elizabeth. It was FABULOUS! Elizabeth had such amazing attention to detail!! She offered me hot tea while I filled out paperwork. She talked with me briefly to find out what I like in a massage since I've gotten massages previously. She used aromatherapy during the massage but made sure to mention that she wouldn't diffuse it into the room in case it was too strong or unpleasant to me. It wasn't, but that was so thoughtful!! She offered a cool pack under the head rest since so many of us are dealing with sinus issues right now! It was fantastic! The bed was perfectly warmed, the hot towels were a great temperature. I could go on and on! The atmosphere of the facility was also wonderful! I will for SURE be going back!

I went to Journey on the recommendation of some people through Next Door and I was very nicely surprised. The therapist that I had was wonderful, Elizabeth. She was knowledgeable about the specialty massage that she was doing for me, MLD, and she was very friendly and funny. One of the best massages I have had and I will definitely go back.
