The lake has the clearest water, not a lot of boat traffic. We were at the beginning of a cove. We had the big water view, but not much traffic. Spent the entire week just lounging in the water. We will be back!

This lake is a beautiful place. It is a great place to fish or just a good place for recreation. There are many lovely homes on this lake too.

Went there several times and always caught 5-12 lb striped bass. It is a big lake and you should hire a local Guide, as they know where the fish are, as most of them fish 3 times or more a week.

Beautiful Clear & Deep water. Rainbow trout fishing & pretty good sized ones for stocked trout. Not too far from Jasper with pretty scenery along the way.

You can get near the dam, but there are no public tours. The facility is owned and operated by Alabama Power.
