Park is Closed
Feb 2020
This park is no longer operational. All vestiges of this has been removed from the site. The giant monkey is behind a house about two miles to the South.

Inconsistent opening hours
Nov 2017 • Couples
We turned up on a weekday afternoon to play mini golf. There was an open sign and attendants there but we were told the mini golf course wasn’t open. Bit odd. So before you make any sort of detour to get there, ring to check they are open.

Beware!
Mar 2017 • Family
My very adventurous 7 year old daughter was invited to a birthday party at Adventure Park and she was SO excited. I had never heard of it, and saw that it had some good reviews so we were ready to check out something new.

When we first got there, we were required to fill out a waiver. I had already filled this out online, but we were all required to do so again because the kid behind the desk said he had no way of getting any of the pre signed waivers. The waiver itself was another story.

The girls decided to do the bungee dome first and the 2 girls who went first both got hurt. My daughter has done the bungee trampolines before and they are awesome, and safe and we have never had a problem. This was so different. The trampoline under the bungee cords were too small to accommodate most people unless they jump in the exact same spot without moving at all. Even then, the trampoline itself was moving while the kids were jumping. The first girl who went came back down on the trampoline and hit the bar with both her shins because the trampoline had moved from where it was when she originally jumped. My daughter went next, and the same thing happened. The attendant yelled at my daughter telling her she had to jump straight up, which is what she did, but the trampoline had again moved. He argued with me and then told me he had been working there less than a week and didn't know why it was moving.

The girls wanted to zip line and I was very uncomfortable with the attendants running this. I have never felt this way when doing these types of activities at other places in the past. It turns out, I should have felt this way. When my daughter got to the top of the ladder to step over to the platform for the zip line, the attendant disconnected both of my daughter's cables to get her around the ladder. She was standing at the top of the ladder without any security due to this guy's lack of knowledge and stupidity.

Aside from the safety concerns, the mini golf course was run down, the golf balls kept getting stuck in one of the tubes and the kids had to continue to try and get them out. Some of the peddle cars were rusty and the wheels fell off of another one while a different girl was riding.

Overall, this place is a disaster and I would never go back.

Day out with my Kid's
Aug 2016 • Friends
Definitely a work out but in a fun challenging way.Kids loved the rope course and the zip line. and learning to do flips on the bungee dome. I enjoyed the peddle carts and seeing the kids coaching each other to the next obstacle.

Going...going...almost gone
Mar 2016 • Family
Heard about this place since it was one of the few mini golf places in the Birmingham area, so we thought we'd try it. Very flat, no hole markers aside from so faint stripes of paint from hole to hole, and poor maintenence of rhe course itself. Still, we had fun playing. The place was also supposed to have a rock climbing wall (stored away), a ropes course (operational), a bung zone, a water ball pool (gone), and a huge water slide (also gone). Given 2 of the 5 activities listed on their website are gone, I wonder how much longer the other 3 will last considering what we saw.

I'm so sorry for the disappointment we have caused and I hope you will consider accepting our apology. I would also like to explain or respond about the activities listed above. The golf course and slide were not owned by adventure park it was watazumi beach. Since the two previous owners have left them vacant we leased them last month so they are now an addition to adventure park. Mini golf: we are in the process of renovating the course instead of demolishing it. We have ordered new cups, obstacles and number posts. We are redoing the landscaping as well. Unfortunately all items have not been delivered yet. Climbing Rock wall: We just purchased the new wall because the previous wall had been cracked but the new one is bigger :) it is scheduled to be bolted/cemented Monday. Ropes course, Bungy dome & water rollers: Bungy dome and ropes courses are operating. The water roller we are not continuing due to the pool being damaged by a storm. We should be launching our new website this week because the company can't seem to update anything on the exciting site. We have ordered some new attraction for the slide area which are Pedal Karts and Zorb racing. I hope you will come back soon and give us your opinion on the finished product!

Good, when its open
Oct 2015 • Couples
The place is pretty good when it is actually open. They seem to have no regular hours and are now infrequently updating their website.

Adventure Park, Zip Line and more in Birmingham !
Nov 2014 • Business
This is a great location for small and big Thrill & Fun Seekers.
It offers a beginner & advanced level & challenge course.
Plus a line of other activties such as Rock Wall, Mini-Golf and Bungy-Trampoline.
Prices are a good match even for bigger families. Where do you find a challenge course with zip line for 30 bucks ?
