Loved that this is a repurposed school. They did a great job handling the crowd with current pandemic limitations. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the types of beers they are serving. Great selection of craft beers. I will be back

While in town for training at Redstone Arsenal I checked out Straight to Ale. The park like setting with outdoor seating was an excellent spot for a pleasant summer evening. The Monkeynaut IPA was very good but it was really the Crispy Asian ribs on the menu that brought me back for an end of week Friday night dinner. I highly recommend not only for Straight to Ale but there are 2 or 3 other breweries to choose from at this awesome campus like setting.

Stopped in on a business trip, fantastic food and the Craft is excellent (Watermelon Wheat is Fantastic!!).

One of the three Stephanie's, was very helpful and friendly, all except for the demand to buy into the $200 club, to be able to buy the best tee-shirt.
....Super Bummer.

Other than that, highly recommend, ask for Stephanie!

We went last night and would go back. Burger was really good, pretzel good and poutine with bbq good. Pizza, not good, $15.00 for a sausage pizza that tasted like it was from the frozen food section. Service great and drinks good.

Was waiting to see what the rave was about. Came away disappointed since there were a lot of 5 star ratings. My burger was not quality meat. It had several hard things in it that you normally find with cheap quality meat. Further i ordered it without cheese, and it came without everything.... I ordered the homemade chips; got fries.

The bright side was the Asian ribs seemed good to my son, but at 22 he usually cleans his plate. Not this time.

Also i appreciate the bartender. He really busted it and i tipped him accordingly.

My family and stopped by Straight to Ale as we always do when we are in town, (3 to 4 times a year), to enjoy some good beer, food, and let my 11 year old son get his pinball fix. While the beer and food were on par with previous visits, the family friendly environment had been greatly diminished. They now have a policy of no one under 21 in the game room. I can understand not allowing unsupervised minors, but not to allow them at all is a little ridiculous. We stayed for a beer and food, but quickly moved on to Pints and Pixels, they welcome kids until 9 PM. I have recommended Straight to Ale to dozens of families over the past few years and I hope they will reconsider this anti- family environment policy so I can do so again. I live in Nashville and have seen the impact that a great brewery scene merged with a welcoming family environment can have on the social scene.

Having a blast. I was traveling through Huntsville, but stopped at the rocket museum, which honestly was great. But spoke to a couple of the rocket scientists there, who recommended this brewery, and it was only about 3 miles away. The brewery has great beer, and a garden area with a large lawn where people were throwing Frisbees. You can walk through the brewery part with the tanks of beer. But then I saw school lockers, and thought "What kind of school is in a brewery?". There is a set of lockers there, which suddenly moved by itself. It's a secret door to a speakeasy. Not joking. They also have an Arcade here, an axe throwing place, and a ballroom which is the gymnasium of the middle school that used to be here. So much fun! I'm coming back, and I changed my plans to stay another day here in Huntsville.

I go there every time I am in Huntsville (5-7 times a year) and I have yet to be disappointed. Great burgers, great chips, and excellent craft beer. The place is located at Campus 805, a closed down middle school that was launched into a multiple business mall-like place. Huge pinball arcade room downstairs!! All hail the Monkeynaught beer \m/

Their beer is superb and the venue in an old school is great because you can walk outside with your beer right to another brewery. You have to drink your beer before going inside the new one by law. Upstairs they have pinball machines and ax throwing (for real). This is a really unique place for beer lovers. I reviewed this place 4 years ago but it was stuck in TA's draft file. It was great then and if still open is probably better now.

Nice place, big selection of beer, wine, and spirits. A little more pricey than expected, but hey we have inflation! Hidden speakeasy is a nice find. Pinball room was pretty cool.
