We took the ghost tour with hostess Jackie Reeves, she was a delight and very very knowledgeable. She has written several books about the area. This is not a scary tour it was certainly worth the 2 hours we spent with a gracious southern lady! Love ya Jackie, we will be back. Be sure to ask for Jackie Reeves.

The Huntsville Ghost Walk has been in operation now for several years, and it shows. There are 3 separate walking tours, a trolley tour (seasonal), and a bicycle tour (seasonal). The tour guides are all very knowledgeable and entertaining. The guides encourage people to take photographs and share their experiences. Past the ghost stories though, the history you can learn... My husband and I have been to lots of "ghost" tours in many other cities, and we both grew up around the area but have since moved away and were excited to see they had one now. I can't remember our guides name, but he was an older gentleman who was extremely informative and very funny. We learned a lot... More

Interesting and full of history. Nothing cheesy like costumed characters jumping out at you. Just the real deal. Extremely pleased. If not happy I suggest you find a haunted house setup for kids with skeletons and monster music.

My husband and I went on a night ghost walk of the historic district of Huntsville, and while the guide was dressed in period clothing and had a good microphone system, the walk was more historical than spooky. If we go again, we will try another guide with a bit more flare for the dramatic...the kids on our tour resorted... More

We've talked about doing the Ghost Walk for a few years but my daughter was afraid it would be too much like "A Nightmare on Elm Street" and didn't want to go. I was finally able to convince her to go and now she can't wait to go back for the other tour options. We took the Old Town tour... More

This is the right blend of history and mystery. It a simple walk with lots of other people who are also fascinated in the stories told.

We took one of the four Ghost Walks - Downtown Huntsville - and plan to take the others. Jackie Reeves, the historian and leader did an excellent job presenting the stories and her research was evident. I've lived here for 45 years and this is the first time I've heard some of these stories. The walk took about 2 hours... More

Our guide was Kevin-He was so awesome! This tour is not only ghost stories, we learned alot of history too. He knows his stuff and loves questions and for others in the group to get involved. We had a group of 20 or so people and he still held our attention. We chose the Twickenham tour because of the neighborhood... More

If you are even a little bit curious about Huntsville history, the Civil War, paranormal or the Deep South in general, then this is definitely worth your time. The tour takes you through historic Huntsville complete with mansions, landmark homes, majestic trees, quaint neighborhoods. I've been on other Ghost Tours in other cities and found this to be really informative... More
