Delores, I am sorry for your misfortune. I will tell you as with all modern venues, there is accessibility for physically challenged people. I think it would be great if you could get a temporary handicap parking placard. Due to its small size and hometown design, there are several parking places close to doors. My personal recommendation, have been an educator attending graduation of former students there, is contact the school, and if needed, follow up by getting on the Von Braun website. I will say that the closest access if available will be on the East side near the main entrance. I assume since you sent me this there is a high probabilty you will be using GPS navigation. Most commonly people come in from Memorial Parkway, then down the north side. There will probably be a line if it is a large school as you are approaching to the covered parking deck. If you decide to go that route, get as close to the SE corner as possible so you can use the elevator. The best accessibility if available, will be to pass the BBC and take right on the corner, and then hopefully right in the front, unload if someone else is with you, or park there and unload. true good news is if this is not available, you can still go in the covered deck you will soon seen on the right, and when you go in from this direction, the elevator is nearby on the left. There are other close spaces you may choose between the two, if available. I still recommend calling the school, as worse case scenario, they say sorry, your own your own. If it is Hazel Green, as you may know, big school. Anyway, good luck. I haven't worked in Madison County Schools for 5 years, so this is the best I can do, retired and on my second career. Ask me more if you would like. I hope this helps.
