This state park has so much to see and do. If you're into camping, there is a nice campground right along Lake Guntersville. There isn't any privacy between the sites, but they are a decent size. Some are paved and others are gravel. Most seem...More

The park has a lot to offer. We saw eagles, white pelicans, deer, and many other animals. The hiking trails are clearly marked. The staff at the lodge is very nice. They will answer all of your questions.

A very beautiful state park that offers camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. We were stopped in our tracks by three deer standing in the road. You definitely share the place with nature.

Very Deluxe camping set up that is well maintained by the volunteers that live there. We were there in the winter so it was super quiet. Roads winding through massive rock formations, up and down steep ravines and along impressive ridge tops. Of course the...More

This is a Hugh lake and very busy. A lot of boats and fisherman so I will assume there are a lot of fish. We just enjoyed looking across the water and enjoying the spectacular sunsets.

We just drove through the park and there are some gorgeous views of the lake. The campground is wide-open (maybe the result of a 2011 tornado) so if you like wooded campsites, this isn't for you.More
