Great experience from the beginning to the end. Caught 29 Spanish Mackeral and 5 King Mackeral. Cleaned and skinned fish. One of the best captains and first mates around. Years of experience catching mackeral.

Caught so many fish it wore me out! I went by myself and had two fish on most of the morning. I know fishing is always hit and miss, but this was a big hit day, and DeJuan and his new mate (totally forgot his name) kept me in stitches the whole trip. Anyone can find a negative and write about it but I want to express my gratitude for their efforts. Yes we trolled the whole time and he didn't have vast amounts of gear to select from however, he knows what are biting and what most folks come to do (catch fish). I caught about 30 King and Spanish Mackerel and one surprise Red Snapper. The boas was perfect for the type of fishing and very smooth and stable on the water. I have taken several charters in the last several years and this was among the best.

Despite a slow start getting on the boat because of the Marina’s forklift not starting. When it finally roared to life Dejuan got the boat in the water and on fish almost immediately. We pulled in Spanish Mackerel all morning and then switched for Kings but no luck. Boat was clean and Dejuan was very nice and helpful. We had a great time on a short notice trip.

Took my 2 young boys fishing. All we did was troll. I don't think Capt. Even had any other bait. I know it is called fishing not catching but when you pay this kind of money and don't even touch a fishing pole does not make for a good experience for young kids. They were so excited to go then not to even touch a pole was disappointing. Then Capt said he had used all his resources and took us in early. Still charged us full price. Boat and tackle were in great shape looked well maintained. Still better than work.

Capt. Tedder was great, put us on fish quick. Lots of action for everyone. He keeps a clean boat, no clutter and plenty of room to move around. We would recommend to anyone!
