It was very neat to see sharks, stingrays and sea turtles from the pier. My kids loved it. However, there are lots of people fishing from the pier and they don't look before throwing their pole back to cast out. We were almost snagged I don't know how many times. It was very irritating since you want to look off... More

We stayed at the campground so we were given a free pass for the pier. There is a lot of history of the pier displayed and is very interesting. There is a concession stand and restrooms, and also a bar area where you can cool off with a drink. Walking down the pier you will see fisherman, both experienced and... More

Free parking here and nice showers to wash the sand & salt off. There is a few vendors up on pier for food options. Bathrooms are clean. Signs say you can't swim w/in 100 yards of pier - I am assuming due to ppl fishing and hooks? But, no one seemed to pay attention to that - other than us... More

My husband and son loved fishing from the pier. They also saw sharks and other fish from the pier and loved the view. The employees at the pier were very friendly and helpful.

Went to see the pier and watch the fishermen during a high surf day. Enjoyed the historical postings, animal - bird and fish facts, and entire experience. Didn't expect an entrance fee, but it was nominal ($3) and well worth it. Saw plenty of fish and birds. Good couple of hours in entertainment.

Took family here just to see how it would be. It is was very windy that day but still worth the walk. Just 3 dollars to get in. Can see a lot from end of pier.

My husband loves to fish on this pier. He enjoys watching the variety of fish in the water--and catching them too! The people that work there are friendly and helpful. There is a small fee to fish and a smaller fee if you just want to walk out on the pier. We are going back in September and taking our... More

The pier was awesome. For a small price, we went all the way out, saw several pelicans. One was friendly to visitors. Fisherman let you watch them catching sharks!!
