We had a wonderful experience with Pure Aloha Adventures! Eva did a fabulous job teaching our family how to stand up paddle board for the first time. She was very passionate, enthusiastic and encouraging. We were amazed at how quickly she had us standing up and paddling away. The location was perfect -- calm, shallow waters which made it a very peaceful setting. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Pure Aloha Adventures for stand up paddle boarding!

Our family stayed in Gulf Shores for a long weekend, and, by far, our stand up paddle boarding lessons with Pure Aloha Adventures was the best part of the whole vacation! None of us had ever paddle boarded before, and Eva was an amazing instructor to get us started. Our 7-year old daughter had an especially wonderful time and said she can't wait to come back to Gulf Shores so we can paddle board again. Eva explained everything thoroughly and made sure we did everything safely. I was especially impressed with how well she did with our daughter, towing her on her own board to make sure she stayed as safe as possible on the water. I was afraid that stand up paddle boarding would be too challenging, but it was truly something anyone with any body type can do! We will definitely book another tour with Eva next time we're in Gulf Shores.

Finally checked SUP off my bucket list and I am so glad that we selected Pure Aloha Adventures. Eva gives clear and kind instruction and great cues while on the water. She also rescheduled us due to wind conditions to make sure we had the best experience possible. Hannah pointed out wildlife and made us feel comfortable while doing something for the first time. My husband and I both enjoyed the experience and highly recommend Pure Aloha Adventures!

We booked our family of six - age nine, two teens, young adult and two parents (relatively out of shape parents at that) - to paddle board during our trip to Dauphin Island. Five of us were first timers.
Eva text us the day before concerned about wind conditions for our scheduled day. We rescheduled for later in the week. I appreciated that communication as it would have not been an enjoyable or safe time with it too windy.
We started out with instructions on shore and introductions. She was a wonderful instructor and you can tell that she’s been doing it for a long time! Then we headed out. Everyone caught on rather quickly but I was pretty concerned about the youngest. Eva stayed pretty close to her and helped her every step of the way. She was able to do everything her older siblings did. Eva was so patient with her. She has an outgoing personality that made the time spent on the water with her fly by.
It was so good meeting her and when we get back in the area, we will definitely book again. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

I have been wanting to learn to paddleboard for years and Ava's tour was perfect! Wonderful experience. Absolute must do if you are in the area. You will be fully trained on land before going in the water. The groups small so she can give everyone the attention they need. Warm shallow water with active sea life. Go early due to the heat. Take water and plan to get wet to stay cool. Hats, sunglasses and swim shirts are highly recommended. If you don't want to stand or get tired, the board is the perfect kayak too! Thank again Ava for the fabulous start to our vacation!

Six family members, ages 11 to 70, had so much fun! Eva is a great teacher! Her business name says it all, "Pure Aloha". The experience is friendly, chill, comfortable, patient, relaxing. She took individual time with everyone. Some were "naturals", others needed a little extra coaching. Everyone felt positive about their achievements. The setting is absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to go back on our next beach trip.

Ava is a great teacher. First time for all of us and she made it so easy. We were all able to stand up without any problems.
Due to extreme heat, she approached us to reschedule at an earlier time. So nice to have a small business owner to work with - she wanted our experience to be one to remember and not for the 99 Degree weather. The earlier time was perfect!

We had the best time with Ms. Eva from Pure Aloha Adventures this weekend! She was very patient and a great instructor for our family of 4 (including our 6 and 9 year old). We had never paddle boarded before and our daughter had wanted to try it for awhile. Ms. Eva made everything easy and fun. You'll love it!

Our family of five had a blast with Ava! Our three children (16. 15. and 12) had all done paddle boarding at camp, but the middle aged parents were complete novices. Ava gave clear patient instructions that had us standing on our boards and enjoying the ocean in no time. She was knowledgeable about the marine life and nature in the area and pointed out sting rays and birds to us. Lovely trip.

Fantastic first paddleboard experience!! Another company left my wife and my 8 year old and I high and dry at the launch. Ava happened to be there waiting for her clients to arrive. She agreed to meet us after she took her group out. She was a great, patient teacher and guided us around bon secour bay showing us some really cool scenery and wildlife. Highly recommend Pure Aloha!
